Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaThe rooms could use some maintenance. The fridge in my room was still not cold after being plugged in for several hours at night. The soap holder in the shower has broken off and needs fixing back up. It would be nice to have a holder for soaps and shampoo bottles inside the shower area.
Really great value for what we pay. I am astounded by Daisy's attentiveness and willingness to accommodate our requests. She's friendly and warm not just with us but with all the guests there! I have no idea how she's able to do that all day every day! It is admirable. There's a big breakfast included with various options to choose from, and she even threw in extras for us every day. We could even choose a Vietnamese local dish. A swimming pool in the villa. Free bicycles to use to ride into town and back. Trash is emptied and new towels provided every day. The location is great, if you look on Google maps, it's not that far from the center and the walk is not that long, but it's unpleasant to walk in the searing heat and the sidewalks are not pedestrian friendly at all. So, we really appreciate the free bicycles that help us get into town easily. Daisy arranged pick up and drop off at the airport for us and shared with us all the information for tours and activities available in the area. We ended up not doing any of those activities, but it was all good with her as well! Daisy's sister/cousin runs a tailor shop in town, which we didn't use, but we parked our bicycle there. This lady was so so so warm and friendly as well even when we only wanted to park the bicycles. I would recommend going there to get your clothes tailor made, just from my brief interaction with her. Daisy and her family leave me such a sweet and nice impression of Hoi An people.

Daisy was an exceptional host. Her English was very good and she was extremely responsive and helpful in making the most of our 3 days in Hoi An. She arranged transport to and from Da Nang, purchased our train tickets, provided good advice on the different tour options and did not try to upsell anything. It was clear that the only thing she cared about was that we were happy with our visit to Hoi An. The location of Daisy Gardens is just off the beaten path, making it a quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the pool on a hot day. Food and drinks from Daisy's kitchen are very reasonably priced and delicious. There were enough bicycles (complimentary) for all of the guests and mopeds available for rent as well. The room was clean and spacious. If we ever return to Hoi An, we would certainly stay at Daisy Gardens again.

Best value for money accomodation that we have stayed in our whole 6 months of travel!!! Daisy is extremely lovely and will go out of her way with every traveller to make them feel at home. We stayed one week and extended our stay due to my husband becoming unwell, Daisy was extremely helpful through all this and constantly wanted to help with food, tea etc we are very grateful to Daisy and her team and would highly recommend her Villa. The daily included breakfast is exceptional and generous - fruit platter, bread with jam and a choice of drink and hot meal off the menu. It’s a 15min drive from old town but grab taxi is extremely cheap so we did this most days. There are some amazing food places surrounding Daisy Villa also so lots of food choices that are cheaper than the old town. 5km bike to the beach with free bicycles available to use. Scooter rental is also cheap! Daisy organised pick up and drop off from Da Nang. I had 3 dresses made at The Tailor (Daisy’s shop) which all turned out exactly as I hoped - highly recommend using her shop to get clothes made! Thanks for everything Daisy and family ❤️

Not my first stay, and will not be my last. Clean, great breakfast, wonderful staff. Daisy is an angel. Very helpful, concerned about my welfare being a solo traveller and always ensuring my welfare. Free bicycles on demand.

We like Daisy, very friendly and helpful host. Free bike was great. Breakfast was probably the best we've had so far in Vietnam. And the garden + pool area was cozy.

GermanyThe hotel is in a great location, very quiet, clean and only a short 20 minute walk away from the Hoi An old city. The most outstanding feature of the hotel is the host. Daisy was very helpful with choosing activities for the day, recommending good restaurants and she has a great personality! If you are in Hoi An and want to have a pleasant stay as a family, on your own or as friends, I would definitely recommend coming here.

Great place to stay, Daisy, her family and her team work tirelessly to help you make the most of your stay, have a clean environment and eat good food. Daisy helped us to book coconut boats (cheaper rate than approaching the place yourself) and onward travel to Phong Nha which all went seamlessly. Thank you Daisy!

United KingdomThe only thing that we didn’t enjoy was daisy did act a little bit like a parent when I didn’t finish my meal (it was instant noodles with veg and beef) and when we didn’t come down for breakfast two of the days at the end of the day we’re adults and it’s our holiday to do as we please we’re not big breakfast eaters we don’t usually eat till after lunch time just felt like we were staying at our friends parents house and made to feel guilty about not doing what she wanted. We sort of didn’t mind as we knew she means well but just something to be aware of if you like to keep yourselves to yourselves. The rooms have AC and a fan but do get quite hot as you can’t leave on when you go out.
Great little home stay if you’re visiting Hoi an very affordable. Room wise you get what you pay for it is super basic but the pool is lovely and breakfast included really yummy. Clean rooms. The main thing we enjoyed about our stay was Daisy herself she was very helpful sorted so much out for us no hassle and was just lovely. She provided lots of useful info and made our trip very easy. We ended up paying £42 each in total for our stay which included x3 nights with breakfast, x3 days use of the motorbike, pick up and drop off from da nang and back there on check out day and a meal. Absolutely great value. The location is about a 8 minute scooter ride/25 min walk to the main part with the boats/ bars/ shops. Also her son was there helping her out who was very sweet.

We loved our stay at Daisy Garden Villa! Daisy is so lovely and made us feel super comfortable and welcome in Hoi An - organising our transfer to Da Nang and helping us organise activities. She even gave us a bag of tea because we liked it so much! The room was comfortable and very clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning; it was big and super tasty! We also liked that bikes were available to borrow for free, which made getting in and out of town, or to the coconut forest, easy. The old town is only 20 mins walk from the hotel though so it was okay to go by foot!

Everything! This was the cleanest, most welcoming and best value stay during our 10 week travels in SE Asia. Daisy is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights during heavy rainfall and Daisy made sure we felt at home and offered help with booking anything during our stay. The bedding and towels smelt so clean, the bed was very comfy and the big windows and balcony made the room nice to escape from the rain. The pool area was lovely. The location is great to walk into town with good cheaper restaurants en route to the Old Town, and the free bikes are great to explore. Excellent breakfast and worth having dinner here too (tasty and great value). Couldn't recommend this place enough and far better value than any resort.
