Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThis is not new property, we had some plumbing problems in there. There was only 1 choice of local beers for "all inclusive" package.
Choice of foods and deserts was excellent. We purchased "all inclusive" option. Air conditioning also was working well in the room, which is important in a hot climate.

VietnamThe TV was a bit hard to use, luckily they sent a staff member right away to guide us. The breakfast was nice but there was room for improvement.
The staff were professionally helpful and highly responsive. They even gave us a little present for birthday celebration, that was so thoughtful! The resort was spacious with lots of green spaces and various facilities available.

United KingdomThey were an hour and a half late picking us up from the airport. The food also gets a little repetitive after a while.
Amazing beach, sea, pools, kids club, variety of food and water park. Our kids loved it. The food had an amazing variety. When we arrived, we asked for a larger room to accommodate our family of 5 and were upgraded to a larger room for free which we were so grateful for.

FranceThe shower flexible in room 412 was leaking. While this was not really annoying, this ruins the efforts the property and staff makes to provide a luxury environment. Cocktails are really too sugary for our western palate and the alcohol options from the all inclusive drink menu are really hard. Good thing is that the international brands spirits are very affordable so if you are not a fan of the local gin and rum, you can always switch to paid drinks at a fair price. We would have enjoyed sparkling water but they only serve seven up. No coffee unless you like it sweet or watery. Airport pickup was effective, but it took us some time to find our driver. A sign with the hotel name would have been great. Upon return, remind them to drop you at domestic departure if you fly back to HCMC or Hanoi. We were left at International departures which is just 10mn walk to the domestic terminal, but with luggages, 35° and high humidity, this was not a nice experience.
Very pleasant stay at the Riviera resort for a week with a VIP check in. The room was clean, spacious and comfy. The Ocean view studio has the benefit of a small semi-private pool which is very pleasant in the evening when the main pools close (6pm). The aqua park was nice for our 4 years old daughter but even more for the adults. The hotel was fully booked but surprisingly, we had a very peaceful stay as the crowd is well spread across the multiple pool areas and beach. I was alone at the beach on the last day, and we often had the beach-side Pool for ourselves alone multiple times. We only felt the crowd during meals times but the outside terrace offer a slightly more calm environment, particularly at breakfast or dinner. All pools have dedicated areas for kids where they can play safely in shallow water. The beach was super clean with a gentle slope into the sea. some waves in the evening but sea was calm in the morning and most afternoons. No jelly fishes during our stay. All pools or beach areas had enough sunbeds. Food was good and varied. Yes, not much options for westerners as their main customers are russians, koreans and vietnameses, but they do make efforts on providing good and savory dishes. The restaurant staff is efficient in cleaning/refiling beverages/dishes. They changed the cocktails menu during our stay providing diversity also in the beverages. They organise several activities such as water polo, beach volley, aerobics or yoga every day. Staff speaks english so even if their main target are russians, it is still possible to participate. The resort is a bit isolated from other Cam Ranh resorts which provides a nicer environment beach-side. Some comments state that the staff is not friendly. We felt that the staff was nice each time we had interaction with them. We believe that the rudeness of the customers themselves may prevent the staff from offering a positive attitude straightforward.

United KingdomEntertainment and music would benefit from a refresh - the hosts were enthusiastic, but it often felt pitched wrongly for the setting; other guests were unfriendly meaning no social opportunity for westerners

KazakhstanWhat I really don't like there is noisy and tiresome animation/entertainment service. They turned on very loud music at the beach, and in the evening the music loudness was just unbearable. I would recommend the manager just to abandon all animation, and instead invest more in the hotel bars' design and attractiveness, as currently hotel bars are not cosy at all. I hope you, dear Managers, will get my point, - you have posh 5 stars hotel, and this cheap, loud and absolutely superfluous entertainment downgrades your place to a lowly one. Also big waves prevented swimming in the sea during all my stay.
The hotel is very modern from the point of architecture, as all rooms are facing the ocean with a fantastic view from my 7 floor. I also like food quality and variety in all inclusive package. The hotel spa was outstanding - they offer 1 hour massage, steam room (hammam) and sauna for a discount price of usd 30.

EstoniaThe entertainment program was mainly focused on the Russian and Kazakh visitors, so it wasn't really enjoyable for us, but it made sense because they were the majority of guests
We had a wonderful holiday in Cam Ranh. Our room was super clean and spacious, with a beautiful sea view. We loved that the resort has lots of space, so that it doesn't feel crowded. There are big pools, a lush green garden and a beautiful beach. They have a free shuttle service to Nha Trang, so that you can go sightseeing and shopping in case you start feeling bored in the resort. Even though some employees struggle with English, they will always find someone who will understand you, so we didn't have any issues with that. The buffet was of good quality, although started to feel a bit repetitive after a couple of days. The staff is very respectful and hard-working, you can see this every step of the way. It must be a result of great management. :) Thank you for having us!

CanadaI'm not sure how to fix it, but the meal times were super crowded and a bit chaotic. I don't know if the design of the eating area could be improved or if the eating times could be spaced out a bit better.
Beautiful hotel. Such friendly staff. The rooms were super spacious and nice. The private pool on our room was so nice for small kids. The Aqua Park was awesome. The activities for kids were so much fun. Great vacation for our family.
