Wifi was patchy. The area immediately around the hotel is not the best but I stayed here five nights and never had any problems.

Lovely historic hotel, thoroughly updated. Comfortable, secure, spacious room, pleasant staff. Excellent buffet breakfast in a lovely rooftop space with two terraces. Very close to the main avenue, plaza, old city and the sea. There is also an indoor pool, sauna and small gym. I would stay there again.

I was satisfied with most things during my stay.

Great hotel, close to the Independence Square. Very comfortable bed (reasonably firm), clean, and helpful staff. Great breakfast on the top floor with potential to sit outside on the rooftop terrace. I liked being able to borrow a (fairly basic) bike for a few hours and also I liked the pool and spa area. Wifi was also good with good coverage.

Towels and bed sheets were stained and discolored, one towel had holes, very uncomfortable. The next day after complaining everything was fresh and fluffy.

The location was close to old Town which I liked, the staff was very helpful. The building seems renovated.

This would’ve been a really nice property when it was first built, but it’s obvious time didn’t do it well. Breakfast is subpar.

Close to the ferry port and all the attractions you’d want to go to. Beds were comfortable (a full bed is two twins pushed together though), rooms are big. Staff is helpful.

The breakfast was great, it was according to the price/quality. The attention of the staff was incredible, something to highlight is that if you do not have an adapter to charge your cell phone they have extra adapters to offer FREE.

It could have been a bit cleaner and the beds were not very comfy (l never complain about beds, but our bedsheet kept coming out and was too small, so halfway through the night you are on the bare mattress which is weird). Airconditioning was working on and off, but kept us awake. Breakfast could have a plant-based milk.

It was overall good, the room was spacious and nice. There was a safe and a fridge, which we appreciated! The breakfast was really good, lots of amazing pastry options and really good coffee! We enjoyed the terrace, it was really pleasant to eat outside. The lobby also had free coffee during the day.

The breakfast was in need of improvement. The scrambled eggs were not warm enough and the potatoes were cold. We found three giant cockroaches in our room which I reported to staff. The TV did not have many English speaking channels and there was no program guide. There were two elevators and one was out of service off and on.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The location in the Central District was good for walking to restaurants, parks and the Rambla (large walkway) next to the river. The WIFI was great! Good signal and reliability. The bed was comfortable (but not the pillow because it was hard memory foam).
