Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkThere was a problem with the pool pump or whatever it's called. This meant there was an extreme amount of noise 24/7 for the first three days. Though the host was kind to begin with, they were not willing to turn it off so we could sleep. After multiple complaints, they got us earplugs but still wouldn't turn it off. Super stressful noise. We asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else. They denied it and from that point didn't acknowledge the fact that we hadn't received the basic service of a good night's sleep for half our stay. We will never stay in this place again. We had, in fact, chose to stay away from the city center to avoid traffic noise. This was far worse.
The place is nice and the space is well-distributed. Good closet space. Location is ok - not too far from what you need.

I had to wait 15 min to get another code, clothes ruined due to bad cleaning service, they got ink on them from the dryer which was full of dirty lint and a pen, Vera the owner wasn't cooperative about paying me back for a 5 hour stay due to the place being dirty and my clothing ruined. No consideration and I would never make this decision again. She isn't responding to anything and never had wifi in the apartment as advertised. Terrible and she owes me money back. I had to clean it,clothing ruined, and pay for another place. Ridiculous

United Statesnoise from above. couldn’t sleep in small uncomfortable beds and this a reason we use this for vacation so we can relax. I’m in property management so I never try to bash or talk negative as I know how it feels but when the owner doesn’t even try to consider any type of refund when you can’t sleep and have to leave early not even staying second night it’s ridiculous. The noise level from above was loud and I sent videos where you can hear every step and every word from people above. how can you sleep and relax in this environment? I wish I could attach videos so you could hear for yourself.

United StatesI didn't have a working refrigerator during my stay because the one in this apartment tripped the breaker switch. The host should have provided a small mini frig to fill-in as a substitute until they could solve the problem with big refrigerator. Also, this apartment was not sound proof. You could hear walking, talking, music from the apartment above, but it was quiet after 12 AM and I was able to sleep OK.
There was a washer and dryer in the apartment which was convenient.

United StatesThe floors in the apartment (#103) are very uneven. There were many curves and slopes on the floors. The AC didn’t work in the apartment we were in. The hosts promptly replied to our text messages and said they would see if there was somewhere to move us. It was already 10 pm though and I had family asleep and in the shower. We were hopeful it would work during the night. It never did. It was 79 degrees in there when we woke up. I texted the property manager in the morning to let them know that it wasn’t working. They said they had left a voicemail with the technician. We were leaving for the airport so it didn’t really matter to us. I was hoping that a small refund would be offered for our trouble, but the manager didn’t offer anything.
Great location to downtown Dallas. The house was very clean. The apartment complex felt safe and was well maintained.
