Staff left at 6PM and didn't get extra pillows. When on site staff was excellent.

Our room was on the end near the private gate and was quiet and very nice. Rooms were super spacious and kept clean and up to date.

Friendly accommodating service and staff. Impeccably clean. Nice landscaping. Great location. Could walk to beach, restaurants, and walking through Victoria Park to Las Olas Blvd was a beautiful walk. Cool old Florida vibe.

The pool was great. Last time I stayed here, the room we had was prettier. This one was fine, since we didn't arrive until the middle of the night, we didn't have much time onsite.

Everything! The staff, accommodations and location cannot be beat. We stay here when in town for Dolphins games, and Billy and Stephanie keep the property well-maintained and well-managed.

From the pictures online, we did not realize that the hotel was set up more like a motel, no elevator, just plenty of stairs, and an outside entrance to the rooms. It appeared to be a “boutique” hotel; however, it should be advertised as one and the pictures should show the motel layout. The laundry/ice vending room needs upgrading. There are no phones in the rooms, so you must go to the lobby or use your cell to reach the front desk, which closes at 6pm. It is an older structure and they have done their best to modify it.

The property manager, Stephanie, was AMAZING! She was very accommodating and met our every need. The assistant manager, Billy, was also very helpful, especially at the conclusion of our stay. The customer service was above par!! The lobby area, which is a separate building, is modern and clean. The pools were centrally located.

It had a kitchen with a fridge, microwave,coffee maker, dishes, and wine glasses. The property has a pool and a hot tub! Billy and Stephanie were very resourceful with info on places to eat. They even let us in our room early and let us leave our bags on checkout day until we went to the airport.

I arrived later than expected. A lady saw me trying to phone you standing out at the front door. She knew I looked trust worthy and let me into the pool area. I was able to sit on a lawn chair and call. I received excellent service on the phone. I had help with the code to get into my mail box. I didn’t have my reading glasses and the gentleman on the phone was so patient while I squinted and was able to get my card. Such an adorable little hotel. My bedroom was superb! The next day I talked to the desk and they spent time with me figuring out if I was charged for a Uber. A taxi was called and I was on way to my Ship. I have already told a couple on The Princess Caribbean website about you. I give this dollhouse Hotel a 10. Thankyou Kelly Reimer

I consider this a 2.5-star property located in a very good, centrally-located area of Fort Lauderdale. The beach, downtown and gay neighborhood (i.e., Wilton Manors) are all within a 5-15 minute drive and the adjacent neighborhood (Victoria Park) is quite safe & lovely. This is an older property, but appears to have been maintained over time and seemed quite clean. The staff were friendly and prompt to acknowledge & accommodate a minor request I had regarding room location. While there were a few areas that might’ve had some chipped/bubbling paint or an area rug with damaged corners, overall the cleanliness, location and pricing for a short stay made this a great value (if one’s personal expectations are managed accordingly 😉).

The towels were great but I would suggest a rack near the sink for the hand towels. The position of the television was very awkward when viewing from the bed. It would be better placed near the foot of the bed where the oversized mirror was hung, especially since the tv edge encroached on the doorways to the kitchenette and the bathroom. I have mobility issues so the deep step to the room and at the curb outside the gate were a little awkward.

The two people who greeted us were very pleasant and helpful. (This was also evident in their earlier email correspondence.) The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked well maintained as was the courtyard. Food options were outlined upon our arrival. Restaurants were within short walking distance. Since our stay was brief, we had the opportunity to sample only one: The Hummus House was just across the street. It was absolutely great! Our smiling young server helped us in the door and his constant pleasant demeanor added to the enjoyment of our delicious lunch. It was a little pricey but plentiful. We are seniors and could probably have shared one order between us. Still, we nearly cleaned our plates!

Towel hanging hooks not available in the bathroom. Employees open the door without announcement like knocking and "room service!". Wine bar and restaurant shut down.
