No fridge to actually use or closet to put bags. My car was hit in the parking lot and the staff could not locate on the cameras who did it. That left me pretty upset.

You need to book one of the upper rooms to enjoy the few the others are in a kind of basement but super nice designed . It’s right in the ocean but in the same time on the street so keep that in mind

The room was average size but the bathroom was small. A quiet drink on the balcony is difficult as the PCH is very busy and extremely loud. Despite the room costing $599 before taxes, the hotel adds a Resort Fee of $25 for providing zero resort facilities.

The room was tastefully decorated, with a balcony overlooking Malibu Pier. There is an open air bar/restaurant on the roof which is very cool.

The property itself was was fine. Minor things that need attention: 1. Room 5, the dresser drawers do not pull/shut easily. 2. Coffee service delivered coffee with cream two days in a row without stir sticks (should have been intuitive when delivering with cream that a stir stick should be included), and one day claimed not to have received a card so we had to reorder coffee. 3. Top Deck-only 1 person to man calls, take orders, and run up and down stairs to deliver food. It made for slow and distracted service.

The design and and overall aesthetics is completely charming and done well.

The front desk staff. They really need better training. Their communication and memory skills were poor. Forgetting details and not sharing correct information to the masseuse. Then they charged our credit cards incorrectly. Front of house is most important! #mostdisappointing

The restaurant staff and food on the roof deck was superb! Special kudos and shout outs to Chris and John! Love chilling on the roof deck; best view in Malibu.

The room we stayed in was tiny and next to the car park. There was traffic noise all day and night. We couldn’t open our blinds to see the limited view as there were people walking by and getting in and out of cars and they could see right into our room There was no privacy. For the price that was charged for the room I would have expected a much better environment and experience.

The decor is nice with a beach vibe. the roof top bar is lovely.

Due to his location (next to the main road) it is quite noisy from your bedroom and hard to sleep at night.

The hotel has a lot of charms, very stylish and I loved the fact it’s was small. Fantastic roof top. Very convenient as opposite the pier/ surf beach.

It was not clear to me on the website that the property is across a very busy street (Highway 1) from the beach. Online photos gave the appearance it was on the beach. Staff was great, loved the roof-top restaurant, excellent food.

Wish the bed was a little bigger, for the price the queen felt more like a double. And I still don't get why hotels can't invest in nicer hair dryers--esp. boutique places like this.

Location was perfect. Walkable to so many things, especially the beach right across the street. The hotel design was very tasteful, simple, sleek--total Pacific coastal vibes.

- There are bushes blocking the lower room's views. Though I understand this is for privacy reasons, it did make the rooms a little dark. - Sometimes felt pushed to have breakfast, lunch & dinner all at the hotel. Which I guess kind of isn't a bad thing as the food is amazing!

Nothing. Lovely stay overall!

Was here for a weekend and we stayed on the ground floor room. The service was friendly and accommodating. The room was fairly small but tastefully furnished. We truly enjoyed our short time here. We tried the rooftop restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Food didn't disappoint. I loved the Thai twist in the ceviche. Drinks were creative and delicious. Would love to stay here again when I'm in Malibu.
