There wasn't a place to get ice. But the mini fridge at least kept everything very cool.

The place is very simple but comfortable for one person. I can't imagine sharing this room with anyone. There's a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The shower is small, but the shower head had good pressure. There is AC in the room, as well as a small flat screen tv.

The TV arrangement. The noise coming form the fridge (I unplugged it, but was very careful to prop the door open so it wouldn't mold.) The folks next door were trying to have sex quietly and they quit early, but if they hadn't ot could have been a looong night.

When I was at The Orca Inn in April2023, there was coffee available near the office. I miss that.....yet I'm happy there is an ice machine and glad the new lady (who was moving in_____don't remember her name) showed me how to use it.

Best value for hotels, refrigerator and microwave, convenient to Spring Street School and to the town. The staff is friendly and helpful and a nice assortment of pamphlets of things to do on the area.

As quirky as it was, we plan on staying here again, next time we're on the island. It was perfect for us.

Unique. This is an older facility. The room was clean with a different floor plan that most modern hotels. Think barracks with individual rooms. Everything worked well, the air conditioner wasn't necessary since an open screened window allowed the sea air in and kept the room cool. It is a short walk into the downtown of Friday Harbor but far enough away to not have to hear downtown partying.

It’s a very nice hotel, the only thing is it’s not soundproof. You can hear your neighbors through the walls so clearly when they just talk.

Rooms are small but that's pretty well advertised. The outside smoking/hangout areas can carry a small conversation past the windows of the units and be a little noisy at night unless the AC unit is on

I loved the location and price. The bed was just right and the room was clean. The Inn is perfectly placed for being able to grab some coffee in the morning and go on a nature walk

Rooms are tiny and old. (But the history is fun!) old school keys for entry. No room to move.

Location was good. Close to Downtown Friday Harbor and Ferry Terminal. Host was super friendly. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep, this is it.

The orca Inn was a perfect location for what I was looking for. While the room is small, it is extremely clean. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I would stay here again.

The linens are not white. Smell is also not so good. Internet is also slow and the air-conditioning makes a lot of sound.

There were no bedside tables or reading lights by the beds. I had to rig up a place to even leave my glasses and Kindle, with a luggage rack and a spare pillow. Without the Kindle there would be no place to read in the room -- no good light. The heater/AC units were pretty noisy, but we wear earplugs anyway...

Pleasant check in, room had lots of space. Good beds, really good coffee from 6 a.m. in lobby. We didn't try the showers but there were two bathrooms because the room had been two singles. Easy to get to the ferry for early departure. Good sized fridge -- didn't try microwave. All very clean -- even the two bathrooms -- both available.

We chose a queen room for each couple and felt cramped in those rooms. However, we managed to take it in stride as we were outside most of the time anyway. The other thing we did Not like was the hornet nest which was above the window of the office building. The hornets were very active and several people were bitten!

It was very clean and convenient to travel to downtown and around the island from this location. We liked the coffee bar and visiting with the staff and other people. The history of the property was very interesting and beds were comfortable.

The room was very small. Two people could not walk past the bed at the same time and the bathroom door didn't open all the way due to being obstructed by the bed. This was not really that bad however as very little time is spent in the room. This would not deter me from returning either but it needed to be noted.

The location was excellent and the fridge worked great. The complementary coffee was unlimited and plentiful. The location was excellent and a short walk to the main part of Friday harbor where the ferry dock was.
