Everything was great.

It was a nice offering that we got complimentary champagne since we were there for my birthday. It was also very nice when we had to check out a day early because of car trouble that I asked if they would be willing to give me credit for the 2nd night, they did without hesitation. We are looking forward to going back next weekend and staying again. It was a beautiful place and we can't wait to stay again.

I was kind of disappointed with the hours of the gift shop. Every time that I tried to go there was close. Hopefully I'll get to see it next time.

The fact that we had to carry our bags up the stairs was not easy but manageable.

It was well maintained and clean. The rooms were huge and comfortable.

Very loud yellng up and down hallway first night at 2 am! 2nd nite loud talking in room next door. Apparently 6-8 people! Continued until 1 am Third day loud talking outside below room at 5 am. Was desk clerk and apparently guest.departing early in morning.

Breakfast was good. First day coffee was cold.

A couple of times there was a very nasty odor. Possibly by a bathroom vent pipe from room below.

Other than the odor (which was horrid and was helped by spraying perfume) it all was wonderful.

The TV only had a few channels but with the damage from the flood that hit the area I can understand. Not a true dislike.

The front desk manager & our waitress @ their restaurant. There was a major flood the night before and the lost 11 of their rooms. The manager & staff went out of their way to make it up to us by giving us a complimentary dinner @ their restaurant while our room was being finished & it was fantastic. They were open and honest about the natural event that occurred and offered us to see if we would be comfortable or they would help us find other accommodations but it wasn't neesed. We stayed and will stay again next year for this repeat work trip. Next year I plan to use the spa as well.

Parking

The staff was great. The room was cozy and different from the norm, which is what we wanted. The grounds, although out of season for most flowers were nice. We walked the trail!

No one informed of their policy that you need to let the front desk know if you want housekeeping. We came back from a long day to our wet towels that the staff replaced for us, but this inconvenience could have been avoided. We’d have hung them that morning, it wasn’t that critical to have housekeeping but we needed to know. The check-out was way too time consuming, as the desk staff was entertaining a group that were purchasing all sorts of things, then quibbled on pricing, and then asked for directions to a farmers market— but “no, not that one, we’ve been there, and no, not that one either…” when all I needed to do was say goodbye. It was a 9 min wait for the 9 seconds I needed.

The rooms are spacious and it’s a very quiet location with an upscale feel.

My friend and I both got hot stone massages and had totally different experiences regarding what was done....very strange. I would expect that to be standard within the spa. Having had massages at other spas I thought the pricing was expensive for the overall experience.

Did not get the bagged breakfast. Room and bed were very nice. We appreciated the nice seating area and opportunity to keep cold wine and have nice classes to drink from. Loved the homey atmosphere.
