The facility is a little dated and could use some upgrades. The bathroom sink was in the main room and was low to the floor (29 inches). The price point for our stay was on the high side, and we had to stay two nights.

The food (Embers) was great. We had both breakfast and dinner during our stay and it was awesome (the coffee...not so much)! The location was great. We were able to park our car and walk around during the entire weekend.

Air conditioner - too hot first night…then we realized that it reverts to an auto setting. Took a little bit to figure out the changing of that setting.

Clean, cozy ambiance, nice restaurant w/ good food, lake view & paved walkway into town. We did not stay in a cabin, but they looked really nice!

I always ask for a quiet room and the first night wasn't really that. It was in a corner that overlooked the entrance. Not good but I didn't ask to switch until the next day. There was also the vending room nearby that I think had a piece of equipment "cycling" some weird noise, even my son noticed that. When I did ask to switch, I don't think they believed me or cared about the noise. I also needed to pay for the change and really don't think that should have been an issue. I was surprised it was as expensive as it was for the nights.

I upgraded to a water view room and it made all the difference. The resort was quiet overall and we enjoyed it.

the pull out bed was subpar and uncomfortable ( we were a party of three). In hindsight we should have booked two queens but never the less, the pull out was not good at all. The gym was small and limited to only one person (for weights) and you had to let the front desk know if you were in need of house keeping each day. In the end the location on the lake was magnificent, and the staff very nice and helpful so we didn't mind these things all that much.

When I booked the place I thought there was a pool but there wasn’t so I was disappointed in that and the fitness center was horrible not very much equipment for the price of the stay. The rooms are not updated at all and the pull out in the couch was horrible and I don’t like that the sink is not in the bathroom.

I wished the bathroom were brighter (more lighting) and had a fan. The ac was fine but didn't cool as much as we wanted. I expected these details to be met given the luxury pricing, was somewhat disappointed that they were average or less than average.

Beds were quite comfortable, staff was attentive and responsive.

There were not many amenities at this hotel. We would have loved a hot tub or especially a pool. Even small things like leaving water bottles in the room for guests make a big difference. I also did not like that you had to request maid service. You should have basic items like shampoo, coffee, and towels replaced daily if you need them.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. My children loved walking around the lake and watching the ducks. There was also a playground nearby that was great for little ones.

There was no onsite food available since their main dinig room was under renovation. This was not listed on the website when we booked and it meant we had to get back in the car and drive out for dinner instead of just relaxing at the hotel....this was a big disapointment for me since we arrived on Mother's Day which was supposed to be my relaxing day....it was a big miss!

The location was very nice and the view from our window was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean but a bit noisy later on.
