Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaAir vent in the bathroom was not working. The breakfast from 6 to 9 and it has less variety in comparison to other Super 8 hotels.
The staff was really friendly. I haven’t seen any sketchy people, everyone who I met were friendly and helpful. For 1 night stopover it was a great deal, for 6.1 rating I was expecting much worse, but it is a decent Super 8 in comparison to others.

CanadaThe breakfast. Could not enjoy the fruit, as it was no where near ripe. Only served frozen foods like, had to defrost frozen type pancakes. No fresh bread or bagels to toast. Just horrible. Could have used a bigger table in room, as there were two of us, suitable room for one person only.

United StatesThe fact no one told us the pool was in another location in another hotel. And for 200.00 I could of gone somewhere where I didn't have to go outside into another hotel and ask them to let me in and show them the key I'm in hotel 8 , and also I never slept on such a hard bed in my life. And the soda machine didn't work on the 3rd floor had to go all the way down to the 1st floor
The staff was on top of kicking out someone smoking fental in their by the back door on the 1st floor. But they should of stopped guest walking past that room inhaling the fumes. It was pretty nasty.

The rooms were acceptable as were the facilities. Breakfast didn't offer much variety and really should be noted as a continental breakfast. Its a decent hoteloverall.

CanadaBed was extremely uncomfortable. Bunk bed creaked every time even my 34lb, 4 year old was on it. Kind of inconvenient to have to go next door to use the pool & hot tub. Other than front desk staff didn’t say a word to us, not even a hello. The room had an odour we noticed as soon as we walked in. Paint in room & bathroom were peeling. The ceramic in the tub was cracking off along with the caulking seam around the tub. For 101 US so 150& CAD for us was high for the condition of the room.
