Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenThe room that I got was facing the highway and it was quite noisy the whole evening.
Very well equipped room, there was a hair drier and an iron with iron table. The room is very spacious with a comfortable bed, a couch and big TV. There is a coffee machine. It was clean and pleasant. The staff was very friendly. The location is perfect if you are going to the airport or some of the tech companies around. It is also 15-20 min drive to Santana Row.

United StatesIt was difficult to know whether they would or would not serve “light bites” in the evening, or even cocktails. Housekeeping was also random. I had to request toilet paper! We got a notice that the hotel was replacing all the mattresses with new ones. We were actually asked to strip our beds in readiness for this. We were the guests. I would have expected housekeeping to do that.
Great property. Perfect for a layover if traveling. Very spacious, clean rooms. Nice pool and gym.

United Statescheck-in! I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. They put me in a king room. I was staying in the room with a co-worker. Had a hard time to get them to put us in a room with 2 beds.
I've stayed here before. The property is well maintained. Nice and quite. Everything was fresh and clean. The rooms are also a good size.

United StatesThe elevator closest to our 2nd room floor wasn't working. I had an injured knee and wasn't able to use the stairs. The other 2nd floor elevator was quite a walk, so that was challenging.
Was there for less than 12 hours. I appreciated the shuttle service to the San Jose Airport. They were there early to pick me up (4:25 a.m.) and had me to the airport within 5 minutes!

United StatesOur bathroom shower was not clean. The corners & shower floor/walls had mold & dirt. It was disgusting. It’s the type of mold (pinkish) that start to grow when not cleaned for a while. I didn’t have time to tell the front desk coz of our schedule that weekend. This is one thing most hotels overlook is the shower cleaning.
The facility was nice, renovated with modern furniture & well lit.

JapanArriving in the evening, we had no nearby options for food: the few restaurants were closed and the closest convenience store was a twenty-minute walk away while it seemed the closest supermarket was clear on the other side of the airport. Breakfast was a simple mix of juice, coffee, cereal and muffins, not bad but less than memorable.
The location was excellent for proximity to the airport, yet the complimentary shuttle from and back to the airport was extremely helpful as we had a lot of luggage and my daughter is in a wheelchair. (The hotel is close to the airport on the map but walking requires a long roundabout route!) Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful.

United StatesI ordered the breakfast burrito from the little food place and it was absolutely terrible. I know it was a premade that’s placed in a small toaster oven, so I know the odds are iffy on quality. The pastries looked amazing so there are several options to choose from.
It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and the staff was so friendly.
