Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaUsed hotel as there was free shuttle to airport. Found out this started at 7. We used the taxi stand staff wasnt accommodating at night. Used an pickup service number that didn't work. Very poor communication and help getting to airport.

United StatesThe walls in hotel are paper thin. Literally could hear conversations and televisions of neighboring room. We were on 3rd floor and between that and the stomping of feet above really makes us ponder if we’d return.
Very clean and newly renovated. Nice restaurants and VERY friendly staff! Amazingly comfortable bed! Great bathroom! Spacious room! Lovely smelling!

United StatesSundance Grill restaurant waitress was horrible. There were 4 tables total that was being served breakfast. Ignored us for thirty minutes she had to be told by the other staff that we were waiting to order and still ignored us for another 10 minutes. Ruined our stay. We immediately left the resort after that incident.

United StatesBeds are too high off the ground. As someone with short inseam and leg issues, it wasn't very easy getting into bed.
The atmosphere is great. Loved how non-smoky the casino was. Aside from the bed being so tall for me, the room was very comfortable. I was able to relax quite nicely. The food in the cafe is very good and pricing is wallet friendly.

United StatesNot thrilled about the restaurant. The food was just okay and high priced. No concierge service so when we asked the desk for things to do, they did not have any input or insights, nor recommend anything.
It was clean and had a good feature with the aquarium. Used the valet, and they were fantastic. It was also nice to have free valet service, it allows the drivers to get better tips.

The single king room was STUNNING! I loved the bathroom doors and art. The bed was cozy and super clean. The smell of the hotel was so comforting. I didn’t want to stop smelling the hallways. The staff were extremely kind to myself and service dogs.
