For the price a continental breakfast would have been nice! The bathroom sink was badly damaged from water rot and missing chunks of pressed wood. There were about 6 nails just sticking out of the bathroom wall. Poor water pressure in shower. Sewer smell in bathroom. The blanket on our bed was actually an empty zipped up duvet cover. There was no filler. So it’s like having a double sheet as a blanket. They did supply a thin blanket in the closet if you need extra warmth. I just found it humorous being that it’s a “resort” and there’s no comforter. Resort style pricing with fairly dated facilities. Lots of cosmetic patches on repairs throughout. Especially the stairs leading to the units and dock from upstairs lobby. You can tell the money doesn’t always get filtered back into the resort for upgrading wear & tear. We stayed in a Mountain View studio. Walls were so thin through the adjoining room I could clearly hear the couple next to us talking as if they were in our studio. The kayaks are beaten up with some having broken paddles, but they worked! Once you paddle out away from the resort towards the sandbar the water becomes clearer, but be advised the resort sits on the muddy and brown side of the bay and there is no visibility.

Great location. Kaneohe is beautiful. The property was cleaned regularly and nice. The floating docks were relaxing, but nothing was “private”. Pool was nice and so was the hot tub. It was fun using the kayaks too, we got an hour and a half to borrow them which was adequate. The staff was friendly and we would definitely go back if there were specials going on for off season pricing. It was pretty crowded, but we still found parking spots and had some alone time in the pool. The roosters, chickens and cats were a nice local touch my wife enjoyed.

Quiet location on the East side of Oahu away from the 'holidaymaker' crowds

    • Stayed 6 nights

Its described as a resort but doesn't have a bar or restaurant which it definitely needs. There aren't any restaurants in walking distance and those in the local area are more fast food. The near area is not really a holiday location which was a positive for us but if you dont have a car it would be very difficult. In bedroom air conditioner was noisy and didn't really cool the lounge.

We liked being on the East side of Oahu away from the chaos of Waikiki. Location is quiet and peaceful away from the crowds. Room, a small suite, was fine, not massive but big enough for two. Bed was very comfortable and there was a decent little kitchen sufficient to self cater for our 6 day stay. Bathroom was fine, shower only no bathtub. Room had a small balcony where you could sit out and look over the mountains, some rooms had sea views over the bay and much bigger balconies. 'Resort' term is a little ambitious, there are some canoeing facilities, a gym and yoga classes, we didn't use any of this but it was there. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and were happy with our choice, its expensive but not unreasonable for Oahu which is very expensive overall. You absolutely need a rental car here. We found the local access good, we ventured over to Pearl Harbour and Honolulu easily so being on the East side isn't an issue with a rental car. There are lots of much quieter beaches on the East side, you can spend a day on a mile long beach with about 10 people if you want.

The property was in renovation, which meant we didn’t enjoy all it had to offer. However, they gave us 50% discount into our resort fees to compensate

The property is beautiful and into the nature different from big resorts.

Didn’t like having a room on the road with no way to sit outside(no balcony) I was under the impression based on the internet site and pictures that each room had an outside balcony or patio. Your rates should differ depending on where you stay.

Breakfast? We weren’t told there was a breakfast. Rooms were clean and spacious. We also thought there was going to be some type of buffet dinner available.

The hotel isn’t actually on a beach, it’s at the end of this kind of muddy bay. It’s nice, but just be aware that the nearest beach is about a 25min drive away.

There was a kitchenette which allowed us to cook our own meals, and BBQS on site for cooking that you can use as well.

The restaurant was closed for renovation during our stay which was disappointing as when we booked the acommodation there was no mention of this and by the time we were notified it was too late to find other accommodation. Whilst the resort fee was halved this wasn't really compensation for not being able to dine at the property given that to eat out anywhere else was expensive just in an Uber ride let alone the meal and distance to travel. We were not provided with coffee/tea etc in our room and were told upon leaving that it should have been in our room with an apology. The property is a long way from anything so it really is somewhere to go and stay with no expectation of visiting elsewhere unless you have hired a car. Hiring a car here was impossible, we tried many options and there were no cars available, we were told each time that it was too far away. So my advice, is to hire a car in waikiki before you leave that area on Turo.

We were upgraded to the Honeymoon room. The view was amazing and the location very peaceful. The bed was super comfy. The room had full cooking facilities which was a godsend as we were missing eating home cooked meals and it was too far to go and eat elsewhere. The pool was lovely in the afternoon where we took our glasses of wine and a cheese platter in the afternoon. Staff were friendly. The laundry room was great, at USD2.50 per load plus USD2.00 for drying we thought that was a reasonable price.

There was building work going on during our stay which wasn’t communicated to us until very last minute which meant we weren’t in a position to find decent alternative accommodation. unfortunately this meant the pool was closed until 4pm each day. There are also no restaurant facilities on site and the hotel is quite remote so you definitely need a car (and to pay $15 per day to park). The kitchenette in the room is not suitable to cook a proper meal in. Also one of the reasons we had booked this hotel was for the daily yoga which was not available for the majority of our stay as the teacher was on holiday and no replacement was organised. This wasn’t communicated until we tried to book and spoke to the front desk. I have no doubt that this hotel has the potential to be great but I do feel we were let down during our stay due to the building work and poor communication from staff.

The room was modern and clean with a good size private balcony. The views were great and we would highly recommend the boat trip.

The little appartment was very basic, the bed was not very comfortable and the batroom rather small. Overal the price we pay per night was excessive for the room features.

The internal garden and the view on the water was very nice. The parking was ample and the availability of snorkling equipment and towels for the beach was good.

we were never told that the pool facilities would be unavailable throughout our stay because of renovations. the staff and communications were poor in the lead up and the warnings regarding facilities being out of use were not in our date range. we were disappointed by the poor communications. check before you stay here. I also think it’s overpriced.

beautiful cottages and lovely surroundings. well equipped rooms and private. close to some lively beaches and the sandbar trip - despite being way over priced - you should do it as there’s no alternative way to get there.

Our TV went out. We didn't have TV one night. I called the front desk, but it was 9:10 and they didn't answer. The next night, the TV was looked at (after an hour wait) and they replaced the cable box. There were not any shows or dining, and we were not notified of that prior to our arrival. We were not given or offered a refund for the lack of amenities. Apparently, since we went through Booking.com we were not eligible for a refund? They did say they'd refund 60 sum dollars for the car parking. (We did not have a car!)

Property was nice. Staff was nice. We liked the laundry and kayaking.

Uneven floors and evidence of building settling were a bit concerning. Rooster crowing at 4;30 am next to the room was a bit annoying but part of the non-city atmosphere that we were looking for I guess!

There was no place on the property to go for food or drinks. I think they are working on renovating that part of the property now.

This was such a special hidden gem. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood right on the bay. It is not the most upscale neighborhood in the world but please do not let that dissuade you. As soon as you get to the property itself at the end of the street all of the world’s problems and cares will will melt away. This place is so quiet and peaceful. We loved all of the trees and birds… We had a beautiful end unit with a large room, refrigerator, microwave, two king-size beds which were the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. And then we had the most amazing deck with a view of the mountains and the bay. My husband and I enjoyed having our happy hour and dinner out on our deck every evening. The staff was very welcoming. The small swimming pool was very nice and the hot tub was awesome. They had kayaks available but we just not did not have time to use them. Will do so on our next visit. We really did feel like we were in our own little piece of Paradise! Just heavenly and we were sad when it was time to leave.

Not the fault of the resort, but the seas were choppy and the weather cloudy and windy while we were there. As a result we could not take the kayaks out very far and missed seeing the turtles and the baby hammerheads.

We loved the peace and quiet, the lovely surroundings and the birds. The room was clean and well appointed. Didn't have occasion to ask much of the staff, but the couple of encounters were pleasant and helpful.
