Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesIt's a rundown hotel, and the room is so outdated. The door lock doesn't seemed safe enough. I t can be easily open. The pool looks dirty. I don't know, it's kind of creepy.
For Waikiki standard, the price is good enough and close to everything.

United StatesDated, toilet leaked water and needs a fix. A bug in bathroom, sliding door VERY hard to operate. Surroundings dated and unclean. I took a towel to the floors to clean since dirty.
Location location location! Main bus stop across the street. THEY HAD A PIANO I COULD PLAY! Close to beach and McDonald's. Staff VERY helpful and nice.

BrazilThe hotel is old as well as the room I had, no view, curtains closed because of the neighbors proximity, so was missing natural light. The bathroom is very small too, will not do it if you are a big guy. The swimming pool have a strange color but looks clean. Despite this picture it was fine for my short stay. Would appreciate a better cleaning and a general refreshing.
Localisation is very good, about 100m from the Duke statue. Service is simple but good.

JapanSome of the facilities in the room were already not worked or slightly broken, which was a little disappointing. Also at the night we could hear people speaking loud in the corridor and that woke us up a bit and distracted our sleep. When we checked in, though we already informed in advance regarding our arrival at 3pm, our room was not ready and the receptionist didn’t explain the reason why so that we had to wait for our room ready. We saw other customers in the same situation.
The quality and service were good enough for the price. Clean, free swimming pool, facilities, free drink etc.

AustraliaIt's great value for money, but it shows. The rooms need an upgrade in some soundproofing, you can hear everything! Whilst clean and tidy, the vibe of the rooms is very outdated with wear and tear that needs some maintenance and upgrading.
The location is amazing, a block from the waikiki beach, lots of great food and shopping around. Whilst the pool is small, the pool area is nice to lounge in and we spent a lot of time down there reading and relaxing in the sun. The rooms are a good size and the balcony was nice to have as well. It's also great value if you can't afford the fancier hotels and resorts along waikiki.

United StatesThe building is old and the decore is spartan and a bit dated. Our room was a bit tight. The doors have large vents which allow for the other guests noise to invade your space. It isn't as secure feeling as many other Waikiki hotels are. (I live in Honolulu and stay at hotels with my fiance at least twice a month) But all in all I actually liked it more than many of the others for a number of reasons
The location was great. The staff were very friendly. The 12pm checkout is very nice as opposed to the 10 or 11 o'clock checkouts at most places. The bed was very, very comfortable and the lanai was nice too. My lady and I enjoyed our stay very much

AustraliaI booked this hotel from booking.com and paid the same amount for 2 queen rooms. But allocated rooms were different. One is bigger and the other one was too tiny with minimum facilities . When I asked it from reception I was asked to contact booking.com and said that how I booked. Can you please issue me a refund for the tiny room with no facilities and was in a bad location closer to streets.

United StatesThe pool was super small and murky. The staff was matter of fact but not really friendly. Just there to do their jobs. There was a slight musty smell when we opened the door but the AC worked and it looked clean enough. The neighbors were hammering at 3am. You will hear a lot of noise here
The room had a kitchen, table, couch, bed and bathroom. It was more of a motel studio apartment. There were a few clean kitchen plates for our pizza, a microwave that mostly worked when you pressed certain buttons, and the door locked. Look, it’s not modern or updated. It’s basically a motel vibe but if you can’t afford a nicer hotel or don’t want to stay in a hostel… this is perfect. It was perfect for our night.

New ZealandThere was no sound insulation so I could hear people talking in the hallways, the bars outside and the rubbish trucks in the morning. It was only a concern for me as I was travelling solo with my 4 month old son and I needed him to sleep before our international flight the next day
