Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe double-queen room is fine but not much better than fine -- the beds were comfortable, the curtains allowed us to darken the room, the AC worked, and hot water came out of the tap, all of which which I appreciated. But it's no larger or fancier than a motel6 room, so don't expect any space to spread out. The breakfast bar was average-to-poor and at peak times there really isn't a lot of seating (which causes the tables to be somewhat dirty-- this is not the staff's fault, they just don't have time to clean between folks leaving and sitting down). And so much plastic and styro waste!
The location of the Expedition Lodge is perfect for folks wanting to visit the Arches monument (it's only a 10-15 minute drive) and walk around in downtown Moab (the lodge is on one end of the main drag and one block away from the large city park). In short, it's the location that you're paying for. The facility is decorated with a vintage-esque style that's pretty cute. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating (they let us stow our luggage for a bit because we arrived ahead of check-in time).

United States of AmericaMaybe the walls are a little thin, I could hear people next door and kids running up and down the stairs.
The property is very close to Arches National Park. Our room was comfortable and clean. It wasn't perfect, but everything was good. A bit outdated but we only stayed there for a night. Breakfast was also good.

United States of AmericaMy only complaint on the room is the building has no insulation and seems very hollow so you can hear people walking next door and upstairs. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking.
The room is nice and clean. The pool is awesome with a water slide. The waffles at breakfast were very good as well. Its also it a great location with a awesome Italian restaurant 3 minutes walking.

United States of AmericaEach time we arrive the floor is dirty. Everything else in the room is clean but they don’t seem to wash the vinyl floors. People put their bikes in the rooms, which is fine but the floors should be cleaned between guests. The kids’ feet are always black from walking on the floor so we borrow a mop or ‘skate’ around on chlorox wipes and clean it ourselves.
We’ve stayed here several times. The kids love the pool and slide! I love the huge rooms the whole family can stay in together. The breakfast is great. You can walk to shops and restaurants, great location.

United States of AmericaWe like the location. It is closed to everything (parks, restaurants, souvenir stores, etc). They have good breakfast (hot and cold), with variety of them (cereals, muffins, oatmeal, hard boiled egg, fruits, sausage/egg muffins (store bought, just have to heat it) waffle, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, to name a few). I like that they have 3 beds in one room, perfect for a family of 3 or 4 who doesn’t want to share bed.

It was so convenient where it was located so we could just walk around downtown and check things out. We all loved the pool and especially the slide.

United States of AmericaThe floors were not carpet and needed a good mopping. Our clean socks were really dirty after walking in the room for a few minutes.
It’s right on the main strip in Moab, and less than 10 minutes from Arches. The pool isn’t huge, but it was just our family at the time we went in. The kids had a blast on the water slide. The included breakfast had lots of options, and we also made use of the various arcade cabinets.

United States of AmericaWe stayed four nights and did not have a full room clean. They just made the beds and got the trash.
It has a quaint feel and is fun for the whole family. The staff is great, and they did extra things to make it fun (brought free popsicles to the pool one day).

United States of AmericaThe hotel was older and even though it looks like they renovated it, they neglected to fix everything. We had soft spots in our floor and the laminate flooring was bubbling up. Our are conditioner leaked water all over the floor and the bathroom next to the pool was always stopped up and filthy. Many light fixtures on the property didn’t work. No one seemed to keep up with the maintenance or janitorial duties.
Nice pool area, however, the hot tub was broken. Had a cool vintage feel and a nice game room.

United States of AmericaNothing to add!
So many memories to be made here. Mid-Century Modern motel with all the amenities expected of a Best Western. A heated bean pool with a circular slide, hot tub in the middle of town. Great continental breakfast with large breakfast room. Check out their huge mid-century bathroom with golden fixtures in the breakfast/break room and the game room too! Walk to downtown to all the restaurants, coffee cafes, cowboy and adventure/gear stores. The staff are local and will do everything to make this place a comfortable and memorable place to stay! Arches is amazing! Highly recommend you get there for free before 7am or after 4pm. Otherwise you will have to make a reservation on Recreation.gov for timed after 7am. This is my 5th stay in this motel in 2 years. There are plenty of other hotels/motels in the area but none as convenient and memory making as this place. To whomever the owners are, thank you for making this a memorable retreat place to stay!!!
