The layout of the unit and the downtown location was great! Also, responses to questions like where does the trash go and how to adjust the ac because it was set to high were answered in a timely manner.

there was an odd smell through out the building and the elevator was small but wasnt too much an issue for me

super close to the toyota center! overall it was nice, in a pretty good location and had a nice view considering it was downtown. made it easier with having a washer and dryer in the unit in addition to the staff being able to accommodate to my request!

The hallways frequently smelled of marijuana despite being a no smoking facility (luckily no smell inside the apartment). The air mattress provided did not hold air and we ended up buying our own (the owner states that she has purchased new ones). It was inconvenient to only have one key fob that let you inside the building. The road noise was loud (would be nice to have fans or something to drown out the noise). Room darkening shades would also be very helpful!

The apartment was very clean and well stocked with basic kitchen supplies. The apartment was much bigger than I anticipated. Great location that was an easy walk to the convention center. Nice pool (although a little cold in April). Randall’s grocery store was a short drive away. No problem obtaining the keys late at night after watching the check in video. Owner was very responsive throughout our stay.

Beautiful apartments!! Would definitely stay again. Loved being downtown and the view from the apartment was outstanding. Staff was very pleasant and provided quick response to any questions I had. Hands down I would certainly stay again. I'm from Florida so visiting Huston for the first time and staying at the RENU Downtown made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend to all.

No Wi-Fi, no Internet, bathroom tub water was overflowing had to call maintenance, elevator from the lobby is very slow, key lock box was a problem, not only for me, but for about seven other people, while we waited while the key lock box did not recognize our phone number/code!! You guys should really invest on an on-site person other than the one lady who does everything. Definitely needs someone on site!!!

The poor wifi is my biggest complaint. also the kitchen was a little sparse on dishes and the bed linens and blankets are getting a little worn.

They instructions on the key lock box were easy to follow. Before arriving I also received a helpful video explaining where to find the lock box and how to access they keys. All went smoothly.

In my particular unit, there was a lot of exterior noise which was only noticeable from the bedroom (not the rest of the unit).

Host had the place set up very neatly and brought a welcoming atmosphere for my stay. Necessities are available for use such as towels, blankets, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. just in case you were not prepared. They were very helpful with the instructions on how to get the key and made sure I got to the unit safely. The host was also very understanding in any questions or concerns I have. Definitely a great choice!

The confusion of returning the key. It took me less than a minute to get the key on arrival. But it took me about 10 mins to figure out how to put the key back. The wifi would work when it wanted to. We used our Hotspot on our phones because of the inconsistencies. I have pictures of things that were broken, scratch and dirty that were like that when we got there. I want to make sure we don't get blamed for anything. The soap dispenser in the second bathroom was laying on the edge. The filter for the AC was torn up and needed to be replaced. Some of the furniture looked like someone had a dog on a visit. Looked like someone had hit one of the doors but not put their hand completely through it. The salt and pepper grinders didn't work at all. We found some underwear from a previous tenant on the side of the bed.

The location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk to our conference. It was quiet. The view of the city was beautiful. Having plenty of towels, sheets and blankets was wonderful. And having soap to wash clothes and towels that we used was great. Even though we brought our own having the soap dispenser was a nice touch. The check-in for the keys was very convenient. Not having to wait on someone to bring them to us. I really preferred staying here instead of the hotel. Didn't have the noise of people walking down the halls talking. Being able to make my own food instead of having to eat expensive hotel restaurant food. The dislikes are truly minor but overall the stay was great and I would stay here again!! 🙂🙂

There was some confusion with the property after I had booked. They asked me for more money than was included in the booking information. I shared what I had paid and agreed to and they asked for the extra again. Then I shared again what the listing/booking agreement was and they said I was all set. With no explanation of why they had been asking for more- I didn’t feel comfortable with the experience. This is most likely confusion with this platform for booking, but I’m just guessing. Otherwise, the stay was great.

This is a lovely apartment in a really nice building. Having secure underground parking was nice. It’s easy to find and (following videos!) love having the contactless check in and check out.
