I didn’t like there was not a tv and the WIFI was sketchy. I also felt like the pics from the website were a bit misleading. The pics show a very magical place but as we pulled up we saw overgrown weeds on the property and string lights flopping in the wind. It just wasn’t manicured as the pics showed.

the cottages were quaint and cute. I adored the Host. he was so interesting to visit with. B was European but good and filling.

I don’t like giving negative reviews but I did try to settle my concerns with the owners. I had to check out early because we found three spiders, killed two and while my husband searched for the third he found under the bed was dirty and full of webs and. Mouse trap. We did not get to settle in or enjoy the outdoors because there was not lighting. Our anniversary was ruined and we had to drive back home. I messaged the owners when we left and never received a response so I called the cell number listed but she asked I call another number and he wasn’t willing to accept what I told him. Over $200 lost plus a ruined what should of been a special anniversary. We did not get to eat breakfast since we left at around 7pm, shortly after returning from enjoying the city and some wineries. Unfortunately we did not like anything since the pictures were nothing like the site itself.

The place has great potential and could be very charming. It really needs a good cleaning/ paint job on the inside, new towels and pillows.

Checking in and out could have been more clear The main thing was cleanliness of the rooms - everything was pretty clean except there were multiple cobwebs and spiders. Recommend a more thorough cleaning and pest control services

However, walking and dragging luggage across grass with no walking path or paver was cumbersome. The little house was cute, however, there were spiders and cobwebs everywhere and roaches in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was in the cottage. Of course we ran out late at night, not convenient time. For what was offered and for the cleanliness issues the cost was too high. I expected much better for the price.

The concept and location were great. The owners were friendly and the area was safe. Breakfast was good. With some work and hiring a house keeping crew would make this little place great and worth the splurge.

No walkway paved to cabin. Cabin too small. Internet did not work A lot smaller then I could have thought. Overpaid for what I got Feel like this should be 100.00 a night, not 200.ish a night. Pictures are from the property in no order

I haven’t a negative word about this place. It was the perfect getaway!

The facilities are amazing. Is it a 5 star hotel, absolutely not. if that’s what you’re looking for, look elsewhere. if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing and theatrical like cottage, this is your place! Traditional German cottage to say the least. The facilities were very well maintained, very clean and absolutely comfortable. Breakfast was on your porch in a protected case at 0800 on the dot and ready for you to grab I at your leisure. Breakfast was an assortment of cheeses, meats and bread with butter, jellies and orange juice. We stayed in the rapunzel cottage and when I opened the door, I was amazed! It was like walking through time machine! My wife is a germaphobe to say the least and not once did she have a negative word about cleanliness or the state of upkeep. 10 minute drive from Main Street and 20+ wine vineyards. Obviously going in the winter it’s not as pretty (scenery wise) but we plan on going back in the spring to check out all the wildflowers. If you’re looking for a cultural change with the benefits of comfort and easy accessibility, this is your place! Kids would absolutely love staying here. I showed my daughter the pics, she’s 13, she was mad we didn’t take her.

The bed was very comfortable. Pillows were excellent. I had two nights of very sounded sleeps. Quiet and serene, my head hit the pillow and I was out like a light. The breakfast was delicious and I love that you could eat outside your cottage or inside. We enjoyed our evening out on the front porch and hearing the chimes go off.
