No notice of what looked to be a cookout for Memorial Day that created a block of the one entrance of the parking lot for more than a day. Trash bags left in the back entrance stairwell overnight. Room's AC unit was wacky. "Cool" left the air temperate but super moist (and has for a long time as rust clearly shows on the lampshade wire and door frame), "dry" took room to 55° even though set temp was 74°. Hairdryer only blew cold air on high. Must be in a remodel as part of the room had new paint (not well done) and flooring in the bathroom but still needed to be finished- drop ceiling tiles stained, damaged, ceiling cracks, rust on door frame/lamp. Hallway and lobby look great though.

Pretty quiet for a holiday weekend. Comfy bed.

I’m not a fan of weed and the floor which I was staying smelled like marijuana and at no fault of the property, just the smell is t pleasant at all.

The Continental breakfast was quite sparse and a few components of the room were in need of minor repairs.

The hotel was well-kept and situated conveniently close to Richmond. Housekeeping did a good job of tidying up the room each day and the staff were all friendly and polite.

Our room was located directly across from the facilities closet and was the first room on the hall, off of the lobby. It was a loud area. Bathroom was very small and hard to maneuver.

The paint and walls were very poorly done (holes in walls, poor patchwork), our door did not fit in the frame and we had to lift it to close it. The elevator was also out of service.

None of the vending machines took card and there was not an ATM available, there was also no elevator which did not bother me personally, however I'm sure anyone with luggage or disabilities would be affected

The bed was extremely soft, almost as if the mattress/boxspring was old and needed to be replaced. We could not get the television to work so that we could watch the Men's NCAA Basketball final four. It seemed like you could only get cable stations which was frustrating.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but the coffee was bad. The hotel itself on the whole seemed clean(ish) and our room was serviced each day which was nice.

The bed was uncomfortable. The mini fridge emitted an annoying noise all night. The sound comes through all around the doors so easy from other people walking. The comforter had stains on it, The chair in room i would not sit on. The carpets are gross looking

The place looks kind of old, needs an update. the bathroom had what looked like mold on the floor. The room had cobwebs on the drapes. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Tv worked fine in the evening but the remote died by morning, couldn't see the morning news before we left. We told the front desk and they said they would sent maintenance. But we left before they showed up.

The staff was great, friendly & helpful. Front desk man was very helpful, giving us directions to local places to eat & directions to the Park & Go. Breakfast was pretty good

Heating and fridge were so loud we had to turn them both off to be able to sleep. Bathroom could be (much) cleaner. Breakfast options were just sad.
