The only things that would have made my stay better was a hair dryer that worked and automatic front doors. There was a hair dryer in the room, but it wouldn’t turn on even after verifying that the outlet work. I am disabled, so it is sometimes difficult for me to open heavy doors. Not having automatic doors was especially problematic when I was trying to bring the luggage cart into the building. I think bringing a luggage cart through manually opening doors is difficult for anyone, disabled or not.

As a germaphobe, I hate staying in hotels. Cleanliness is key when I look for a hotel to stay at, even if I have to pay a little more. However, The Phoenix Inn was not the most expensive hotel in town, but it did have the highest ratings. I took a chance and went with the ratings. At the time of making my reservation through Booking.com, I indicated that I preferred a walk-in shower if available. Not more than five minutes after I booked the room, I got a call from the hotel. She I formed me that a walk-in shower was not available, but she did have a shower/tub with lots of grab bars. I really appreciated that someone even bothered to read the additional comments, I honestly wasn’t expecting that. I got one of the best nights of sleep there than I have gotten in a long time.

We were attending a graduation at OSU. I made the reservation almost a year ago here because nothing was available at all in Corvallis. Not only was this an excellent hotel, but the price was even better than anything in Corvallis and worth the extra miles driven back and forth. Plan on staying here again in the future.

If there was something I HAD to complain about, the sheets were a little bit scratchy.

Clean, easy access off highway. Madison called a few hours before we got there to check on us. Carolina made sure we had everything needed. She even packed us a breakfast since we were getting up before the dining room opened! She went beyond the call of duty to take care of us! She treated us as if we were the only guests and it was a packed hotel!

Breakfast chafing dishes were not kept warm enough.

Staff were very friendly. The breakfast staff were in particular energetic, responsive, friendly, and efficient. location was super easy for on and off the freeway. Beds were comfortable as well.

Cold water at sink trickled. I went to front desk and notified them. They didn’t apologize which was odd given such an exceptional property. They did offer room change which I declined as I was already settled in. Cable TV selection was very poor and limited along with an odd functioning remote. I inquired about guests visiting and was told they had to leave by 10:00pm. Reminded me of middle school curfew imposed by my parents. Very odd indeed.

Front desk staff were friendly and kind. Exceptionally quiet. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable with duvet cover. Bath towels were luxurious. Very large TV. Very comfortable leather couch. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices and great coffee!

We were located on the side of the hotel facing the I-5 freeway. It was quite loud for most of the night. The side away from the road would be much quieter I assume.

The hotel was well maintained and in a good location. Check in was easy and the rooms were ready as requested. The room size was generous and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent and staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and the wifi worked well.

Everything was excellent, my only complaint was the king bed in rm 324, it was comfortable but the right side seemed to sag slightly making me feel like I was going to roll off, I moved closer to the middle and was able to sleep, would recommend replacing this mattress, that is the reason I gave 9 stars instead of 10, would definitely stay there again!

We didn't know the hot tub wasn't working. Kind of a bummer. And the room smells of stale smoke. I know it's a old hotel and it was probably ok years ago. But it still smelled

The ice maker on the 4th floor didn't work. The pool and hot tub were not working.

Don't be fooled by the large out-dated sign out front. And the proximity to the "adult shop."

Everything passed expectations. Staff was professional, housekeeping was super, place seemed in good repair with no maintenance issues. Room was comfortable, property was quiet. Breakfast had variety and was well run.
