The lighting in the room was very poor. In particular, only one side-table light for two queen beds. Also, very few electrical outlets in room so it was extremely inconvenient to charge devices.

room was clean and perfectly functional. breakfast was good for a place of this type. convenient location and quiet, despite being next to freeway.

The location was perfect for what we needed, close to the freeway but we didn't have any freeway noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and had good pillows. The breakfast was our favorite part, the breakfast burritos were very big and filling.

The mattresses are uncomfortable and being A spring mattress it was noisy at every turn. They offer no cookware or dishware in the kitchenette suites. And no one cleaned my room when requested. Put my towels in a bag left at the front door. Even motel 6 puts them in the room.

The complimentary meals. And some of the staff had amazing personalities.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi Drinking water machine was available. Fridge and microwave available unlike most hotels in UK.

The food was nice though not many options were available.

Our second day here was not great. They failed to do any crowd control on the pool Saturday, which had a posted capacity of 32. There were far more than 32 people in it on Saturday so the water looked gross on Sunday. So gross that the filters were clogged (we were told by hotel staff). A man told us he would need about 3 hours to clean it, so we waited. Something must have been broken because they never finished the job that day. The whole point of our stay here was to go swimming and escape the heat and we did not get to do that on our second and final day here. We had an extended stay suite with a pool view on a hot weekend of 115°. The pool was poppin all Saturday afternoon and beyond until closing time at 10pm, but the sliding glass door of our balcony had incredible noise-canceling power, so our room was quiet. We visited the pool and noticed not many lounge chairs. Also missing were umbrellas for the chairs, which I was expecting due to the photos provided on booking dot com. The sun could be brutal without that shade, so bringing your own shade to the pool is wise. There is a fairly large grill out there if you wanna bbq. The complimentary "breakfast buffet" is not exactly that. You can make as many waffles, bowls of cereal, and cups of coffee as you want but a lady will serve you bacon, potatoes, and eggs when she takes your ticket. I don't think you're allowed to go up and get more from her. It was a small portion. We did not partake in the complimentary dinner as it did not look appetizing (Salisbury steak and veg). Bed was comfortable. Large microwave and fridge in room were useful. And most importantly, everything was clean and in working order. Except the pool.

Our room was 4th floor on side of pool. Could easily hear people in the pool, but hotel enforced curfew at 10pm

The place smelled really bad (musty). Lancaster's weather is very hot in June. They didn't have proper air conditioning. Everyone is sweating, including staff . The room had a small wall unit to cool a big room, the bed area didn't get air at all, no vents, no fans. It was so stuffy. The elevator is so slow and takes forever to go up or come down. We booked 2 nights , we left after 5 minutes of our arrival . Our vacation was ruined. Staff were ok.

I did not like that monday you do not have dinner, which was not mentioned when I booked the accomodation. Also I would rate the dinner 6 of 10. Poor quality food and small limited portion.
