Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesMy room looked like a doctors office waiting room. The window had a shade that wouldn't close all the way looking onto the parking lot. I was so uncomfortable I went to the casino and stayed there all night returned in the morning grabbed my suitcases and left. The lighted mirror was so bright it hurt my eyes there was nothing pleasant about the room

United StatesI’ve purchased my reservation on booking while she didn’t ask for my card when I went in there and apparently the third shift person was supposed to but he never did. They canceled the booking and put their price for 163 and it’s pending on my account and it hasn’t went through so they said it didn’t go through on there and so I had to pay them again with cash $114.

United StatesThe only complaint I have is the pool was a little green and the fridge didn't work.
The beds were SO COMFY. Breakfast was delicious, even though the pancake machine wasn't working. But that happens, and the staff tried to help! I had children with me and they placed us around other children, which I like because I'm always super nervous we will disrupt someone's stay that doesn't understand children. The location was amazing- we were staying to attend a softball tournament. It was less than 10 minutes away from the field.

United StatesCleanliness was questionable. When we first enter the room it looks clean but we quickly noticed some issues. There was a gross rag on the floor between the wall and the bed. Keycard left on the floor from a previous guest. Crumbs on the end table. And mold in the bathroom
Location was good. Easy to get to the bridge to go to Louisville. Close to New Albany’s downtown. Walking distance to restaurants and a gas station. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good

United Statesmy room had a couple of bugs in it (some dead, and some alive). The A/C unit had an odor when the fan was blowing, so I had to turn it off. Also, my refrigerator started leaking, and I had to request to have it removed.

United StatesHousekeeping service was lackluster. Some days they only restocked one towel, other days we got 3. Our last night there, they didn't bother making the bed and threw the comforter on top of a crumbled sheet. Nothing was organized and things just weren't cleaned. It was the laziest bed-making I've ever seen, if I could even call it that.
Breakfast was amazing. Nice, fresh, and great variety. Coffee station was well stocked. Bed was comfy and we walked into a clean, spacious room.

United StatesThere was a shooting in the parking lot while we were there when we got there we had to wait almost an hour for the night attendant to wake up and help us and let us in to our pre-booked rooms. Once we got the keys we were given the keys to a wrong room, where there was a person in it. We went down there and let her know we thought somebody was in the room, and the key wasn’t working, and she went up there with us and open the door to find a person in there and then when we finally got the keys to an empty room, we were just kind of uncomfortable because we had just seen the manager walk in on some buddy. My credit card was charged twice and when I asked them about it, they said oh no that’s just pending, but I eventually had to call my credit card company and tell them to remove one of the charges, and for some reason housekeeping wanted to knock on the door for the two days we were there like literally every hour like we were there to do night jobs so we were sleeping during the day and housekeeping started knocking on the door from like eight till like 2 PM like every 30 minutes it was a nightmare.
Seemed like a nice area.
