United StatesSparsely furnished room. Dingy tub. Some rusty metal fixtures. However, the most annoying thing was that the shower faucet was not correctly marked. When I turned it to the "H" to the left for hot water, only cold water came out. I ended up taking a semi cold shower thinking there was no hot water. Then I turned it to the "C" side. THEN hot water came out. Another complaint was with the TV. There were no written instructions for the operation of the TV. Called front desk and the manager told me over the phone some very confusing instructions. I asked him to come to our room to get the TV working. It took him several minutes to get the Direct TV up and running. I feel that the TV should have been set up right when we checked in. Also, a microwave in the room would have been nice.
Quiet Location with easy access to restaurants, Ocean City and Atlantic City. Friendly family owners. New refrigerator.

United States“Didn’t like” is a strong phrase, but here’s a few small issues…. The patio door handle was missing an attaching screw; we told the office, and they said they would fix it later (which was not while we were there 2 nights). The double glass pane patio window was steamed up. The curtain did not cover about an inch of light on its full edge on of the handle side, as well as along the bottom, with light coming in the room through the night, but it looked like the curtain could be pulled around its track with a little string (twine or such) to pull it into that inch of uncovered space. The fridge ran a little noisy, but we were able to get to sleep. The bottom of the stairs in the lobby has a little landing that could potentially be forgotten and tripped over. The property could use some trees, bushes, and grass just so it doesn’t look so plain. And the door to the room needs some oil.
While it isn’t guaranteed, they had the room ready by 2pm. The room was visually clean (but as suggested in reviews of other places, we brought our own sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, and soap). There was a small fridge in the room, with a freezer compartment. A small pizza box can fit in it, along with, two restaurant meal boxes, a couple bottles of water (on their side), and four cans or small Gatorade bottles on the door. There was a desk with open shelves and a chair, and night stands with open shelves. There was a light at the door, over the sink (bright), in the bathroom, over each nightstand, and over the desk. The TV was easy enough to figure out. The patio was spacious. The closet has a shelf and about 6 metal hangers that can be unattached from the closet bar. We were upstairs, and heard very little from adjoining rooms. The bathroom door has slats across the full length of its middle. The air conditioning has easy controls and kept the room sufficiently cool. Very good stay for the balance of price, rating, and distance to Ocean City. A restaurant (Caroline’s By The Sea) is behind the attorneys office and sports equipment shop across the street, but we didn’t go there. Target, CVS, the post office, restaurants with late breakfast, and other stores are within a mile.

United StatesOnly thing is, housekeeping won't come through regularly so you'll have to go ask for additional towels if you need them. Staff is very friendly though and it isn't that much of an issue.
The location is nice and fairly accessible. Close to some of the bars in the Somers point area and easily a short walk or drive to food and restaurants. Great location and access to long port or ocean city.

I like the remoteness of the property and fact that there is restaurant right across street. The staff is very helpful and on top of things. Room is spacious and clean with comfortable bed.

United StatesI did pack all my own stuff, hairdryer etc. so it wasnt a problem but some extra toiletries and towels would have been nice. Room amenities were a small bar of soap and two towels.
This was a great location for us for what we needed . We just basically needed a place to sleep. Very very basic room kinda like a college dorm room because it has cinder block walls but it got the job done. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfy beds. I would stay again.

United StatesThere is no trash can outside. There is no coffee machine. Every hotel should have free coffee. There is no soap, or shampoo.
Clean room for sure. Great location for sure. Free parking near the entrance. The air conditioner worked great. The office employee was great. Wawa was located super close. If you want coffee there is none to be had. You have to get it at Wawa. Our dog Ernie stayed free, and he liked the place. We would go back again. Next time we will bring our coffee maker. We stayed two nights in early June. The room was quiet, and we slept well. Next time AARP discount.

United StatesI’ve stayed here several nights. There is noise all night long. You hear all the doors open and slam shut in the hallway. You hear the people above you and beside you. Beds are not comfortable. They are a mattress on a platform & it slides in both direction. The tubs and toilets are old and need updated. Cleanliness was good. Each room as a nice balcony upstairs and downstairs. It’s an economy hotel. If your looking for all the bells and whistles you will be disappointed. If you are handicap request a ground floor room. No elevator, interior steps in the lobby.

The owner/operator lives on the property. They are very nice and accommodating. The place is nice and clean. I liked that all room doors are inside and the outside door locks at dark and you need your room key to get in. Nice balcony with every room. Great location, close to everything.
