I am furious that they require a deposit of $100 where other hotels in the same area do not. But even though, we left the room clean and intact, we even removed our own garbage and the staff who checked us out said the deposit would be returned after 11 am 2/28/2024 - it is still not returned, and my bank doesn't hold money when it's returned. So the faculty is still holding onto the money and for what reason? This reason alone is why I'll never ever go there again. I will book with another hotel that doesn't treat customers this way. $100 is a lot of money these days.

This place used to be a motel 6 we stayed here 4 years ago or so it was a dump then it still is never stay here again I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody unless this is all they can find when I booked it I didn't know it was a motel 6 I thought it was an econo Lodge or I wouldn't have done it

The first room we got you couldn't run the TV and microwave at the same time so couldn't heat any food and big inconvenience got moved to another room to find out the microwave didnt work at all. Were supposed to be switched again which noone ever called like they were supposed to the heater in the room didn't warm up very well. There was a little thin blanket on the bed should have been more thicker and warmer since we are moving into the winter. Told the lady during check out and she denied anything was wrong with our rooms which I felt she didn't care and like we were called liars without saying exactly that.

I liked the bed it was nice and firm. The tub and shower were nice.

Refrigerator makes noise all the time. Vending machines didn't work. Housekeeping rushes you out before check out. Beat on door with vacuum at 10. TV remote doesn't work right.

We didn't have a dirty clothes bag in our room, not really a big deal, I went down and asked and was given one right away.

Beds are very comfortable,. Bathroom was clean and well stocked.

The room door was not closed when we went up to it and the room was hot no AC had been turned on the unit was old and noisy.

This hotel is a good 3 star accommodation. The bed is the best part. Exactly what you need a place to sphower and sleep.

Only the non-cool room!

Worked out fine location wise as we were meeting a group for bus travel first thing in the morning. Room on 3rd floor (sun drenched direction) had been left with cooling off all day so likely about 90 degrees when we checked in at 10 p.m. Air kicked in but took until 3:30 am to catch up to the pre-set of 76 degrees. Naturally the room temperature improved as night went on; not a critical mistake worth complaining to front desk but not a great memory, nonetheless!

The road noise is a little loud in front of the building so I asked to be moved into the back of the building and it was quiet and I loved it!!!!

I flew from Tucson, Arizona to Chicago O'Hare for my mother's memorial and to visit lifelong friends. The location of the SureStay was excellent as I took the Van Galder bus to Rockford and the bus terminal was right across the street from the motel. My relatives ate a lot at the Thunder Bay Grill next door so that was a great asset as well. The staff of the SureStay all were fantastic especially Vee, the lady at the front desk; she was extremely kind and answered all my questions. All staff were great there at the front desk and the cleaning crew were also fantastic. You all get an A+ as I work in education. When I come back to Rockford, my hometown, next year, I am definitely coming back to the SureStay. The SureStay is in a great location, very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, and offers great value prices.

Price a little much for what they offer. Vending machine all the wat towards front. Security deposit was released right away.
