Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI didn’t care for the way I was greeted. Upon entering the facilities I asked my eldest child to hold my youngest child’s hand. My eldest let go and I reprimanded her. I raised my voice but I did not curse at my child. The clerk then came from around the glass met me at the front door and ask for my name and room number. When I told her I didn’t know because I hadn’t checked in yet she proceeded to tell me that I would not get a room because I was a noice concern and they were a business hotel. I explained the situation, went on to explain the situation and she then proceed to berate me about how they don’t allow “riff raff or people with track marks… we are a drama free zone…”I basically had to beg to stay at this hotel with my children at 8:40pm in order to not get a nights rest from a 12 hr drive from South Carolina! PLEASE BEWARE!!!! I felt very uncomfortable the entire night and was threatened with a $250 noise complaint fee even though I expressed I was traveling with children and a small dog. Very poor customer service. The rooms were clean and the living/kitchenette area was clean but the bathrooms had hair on the floor like they didn’t clean it they just changed towels and toiletries.
The property was clean and easily accessible from the highway.

United Statesthe bed was broke causing us to check out a day early and still got charged because we got no sleep and they was completely booked so another room was not an option key card kept having to be replaced because it quit working the carpets throughout was stained and nasty hotel needs serious updates.

United StatesIt was run down and the carpets were stained and dirty looking. The first room they sent us to was possibly occupied…opened the door and tv was on, bed unmade, towel in floor…needless to say closed door immediately and went back to lobby. Manager upgraded us to a suite which I’m sure was very nice 10 years ago.

United StatesRoom was not what was pictured in site. Bathtub had a hole in it. Power outlet was burnt. Wall and ceiling had large cracks. Remotes to TV did not work. Beds were not comfortable. Room had a certain smell to it. Unable to sleep as walls are thin enough to hear other guest and lots of walking and open of doors. Breakfast was only provide one day the length of our stay.
