AC was not strong enough to cool the room sufficiently. We tried to change rooms but couldn't by phone, and the line to vip customer service was extremely long, even with several tries at different times. The pool area had no shade and was very congested.

Bed was comfortable, nice TV, good shower. Convenient to airport and shopping. Long lines for check in, but the mobile check in worked well with helpful staff. The doorman was very nice, as was most of the staff.

We didn’t like the distance of the elevator to the bedroom, it was VERY far away. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the bedroom which makes harder to travel with little ones, or the stay not so convenient. The ice machine was broken in our floor. The food available in the food court wasn’t very good and super expensive! Price point higher than the average. The pool was nice, but even now in the summer they close at 7pm and they don’t offer umbrellas or ANY type of shade. All the options you have to pay a lot of money, otherwise it’s impossible to stay in the pool in the 110F heat. I don’t want to stay here anymore.

We love the size of the room, the hotel is very pretty and our bedroom was clean. Staff was nice.

Bedroom didn't have mini fridge or coffee maker. The pool was nice, but you had to pay outrageous fees to get a spot in the shade; kind of cruel of them, since everyday temperatures exceed 100 degrees. There weren't showers around the pool either, for you to take the chloride off after swimming or clean your sweat before jumping in. Check-in and check-out apps didn't work very well, but the staff was nice when you talked to them about it.

They upgraded our bedroom to a tower one, that was newer and very spacious. Bedroom was clean and beds were comfy. The DEUCE bus stops right in front of the hotel to take you everywhere down the strip; a $8 ticket is valid for 24h of unlimited rides, so it was really easy to move around while staying at the Luxor. Restaurants and stores at Mandalay Bay (that you can access walking through indoor stairs) were perfect, with good prices and nice food.

We had to call for hand towels and washcloths. That was surprising. Food costs are elevated... but then it's Vegas.... $25 for a hamburger and $5 for tea... silly.

We were in a very long line for check-in and one of the staff pulled us out to expedite our process. We appreciated that tremendously!!

There were bags of garbage or spare linens left in the hallways overnight for no apparent reason.

It was inexpensive compared to other properties. It was fairly convenient from the airport and in relation to the rest of the Strip, despite the on-going construction around the area.

Confusion with fees etc with additional taxes on top of the room rates. Prices within the property were expensive compared to outside the hotel.

Location was good and rooms of a good standard. Offered an upgrade to the tower which was definitely worthwhile for $2 a day as the room was less dated than a friend who was in the pyramid. Parking, although excessive at $18 per day was reasonable compared to other similar properties.

I did not like the pool area it was not clean and the water was shockingly super cold. The water pressure in the shower was low and you can tell that the shower was not cleaned properly. Upon my arrival there was hair on the shower wall and during my stay the 3 strands of hair remained in the same place.

The staff were super attentive and kind. The proximity of the property was perfect
