Location was a little disappointing as people said walking here or the may be unsafe

Room wall and floor dark colour so room too dark dispute lighting being normal bathroom bit dated but fine. Coffee excellent we bought milk and put it in the fridge it facilitates were amazing 2 pools Jim and change rooms outstanding breakfast excellent

The room bathrooms were a bit clinical and out of date. Our room only had 1 window, so it was dark. We were awoken by jackhammers at 6:30 am on Saturday due to construction.

The location was close to some great venues and restaurants, although there was a lot of construction and some unhoused people. The facilities at the Athletic Club were great, and the common vintage spaces were fabulous.

I did not like that my credit card was charged more than agreed to on Booking without an explanation. I am sure that part of the additional was for parking but do not know what the rest was for. I was told when I checked out that a statement would be sent to my email. In spite of my sending three written messages of inquiry and a telephone call in which my husband was told that a statement would be sent "right away", a month later I still have not received a statement. In addition, I had reserved a room for my adult daughter and was assured that MY credit card would be charged. When my daughter checked in, however, her credit card was demanded. I later explained that I would pay, yet her card was still charged. (She received no statement either.) I have reimbursed her but lost the points I would have received on my credit card.

The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the location excellent.

Amazing fitness facilities, comfortable rooms, substantial lounge area, very clean.

Hotel parking. Hotel card repeatedly failed to register on card reader. Ended up overpaying for parking and not refunded by the hotel. If you park after 20:00, you are locked out of direct access to the hotel and have to a block in a somewhat seedy neighborhood to the front entrance to be buzzed in.

Unparalleled recreational facilities. Pools, fitness, basketball, running track and more. Facilities are shared with club members who were surprisingly welcoming and kind. Joseph Morino, the facility manager, was a delight.

Some of the room features were a bit outdated / old (nevertheless the general feeling was great, and most room features were very taken care of).

Did not know gym was closed for renovations. Men’s spa not working either. Room was very noisy. Neighborhood is getting very sketchy.

I’ve stayed several times before. Nice hotel with athletic club included. Good remote work spaces. Staff very friendly.

we understood the location of the hotel was in downtown (which was great for the Lakers game we saw) and LA has quite a bit of homelessness, but i was still amazed when walking around seeing the armies of 'zombies'. Shocking to see how society seems to have given up on these people and at the same time you are confronted with the hopeless nature of drug addiction at a scale I have never seen before.

The first time I stayed in 2022, parking was less confusing, we pulled in and it was valet . This time we pulled in and it wasn’t clear what we supposed to do, ended up being directed to self park, which was fine, but was confused because it wasn’t last time. Also last time breakfast was included and this time we had to pay, for the price of the room, it seemed that it should have been included. Also they didn’t clean out the coffee maker in our room from the last guest.

Location was great. Beautiful and unique. Staff was excellent. Overall clean.

I encountered some inconvenience and misunderstanding regarding my reservation, which was initially mishandled by the staff. Fortunately, the Hotel Manager personally intervened to rectify the situation and resolve the issues.

The delightful pizza at the Duke's pub, where I enjoyed an excellent pizza and found the pizzaiolo and waitress to be delightful.
