Property dated but clean. Layout with two units in each cabin made for easy noise transmission-fortunately adjoining unit was quiet after 10:00PM

Lighting in the bathroom was terrible. Not bright enough to put makeup on.

There was no breakfast that I was aware of. Internet was okay. Heater did not work, but luckily the room was okay to sleep.

1. The motel (external) was run down. 2. The neon sign was still broken (read a review from April mentioning it. So, it either broke again or it was not fixed)

Rooms are a bit old. Air conditioning was a bit noisy. I booked 2 rooms, but the motel could not get them next to each other.

Perfect for a trip on Route 66. Clean and comfortable.

Didn’t take advantage of any amenities as I was there for a funeral so my mind was on other things. Checking was fast & easy, room was spacious & warm, beds comfortable.

The heat is a radiator and you can't have the AC unit fan and heat on at the same time; there is also no ceiling fan. So we woke up in the middle of the night sweltering because it took forever for the room to warm up but once it was warm there was no air flow so it was stifling; we ended up switching to the AC unit then.

I liked that this was a good price for a clean, well-maintained place to stay for the night. The location was good and the staff was courteous and professional.

Spent 45 minutes trying to get the guy to help get a room that I had a reservation for. He couldn't speak English or read I had to go into the office and help find my reservation and key then when I got to the room it was already used and not clean. Went back to the office and he couldn't understand that the room wasn't clean so all he could say was you come back. This was at 8pm.. I had to find a new hotel.

The people running this motel have absolutely no appreciation for the historic value of the property. It's run down, not period correct and even the sign doesn't work properly. Incredibly disappointing

We stayed in Room 104 on 10/17/2023; $91.60 for the night. Absolutely adorable cabin property – with front lawns – a complete blast from the past. Between the drapes, carpet and bed spread, the room was a total kaleidoscope but that’s okay! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower hot and good pressure – the shower head was definitely an upgrade. Adorable mix of vintage and updated. LOVE! Grade A

Route 66 atmosphere is completely missing, just the name remains. Very noisy neighbours, when they moved our room vibrated. Quite a small room.

The motel is still a symbol of the route, with its neon (which unfortunately was only partially working). The bed was comfortable and room overall clean.

It’s a vintage Route 66 motel and we booked it for the experience during a Route 66 trip. The photos online made it appear much better than it is. The icon neon sign is 75% broken and has been for over a decade. The rooms are clean but uncomfortable. The mattress was completely worn out. The TV, microwave and fridge were a hodgepodge of older units. There was no electrical outlet close enough to the bed to charge a phone.

The family that owns the property seems to be trying. It was clean.
