Hot water was nonexistent. Running the water for 10 minutes on hot produced warm water at best.

The staff was super friendly and accomodating. The location was fantastic. The grounds were very well kept.

I didn't like that our bathroom tub & shower wasn't as clean as it could have been. Also, behind the TVs haven't seen a duster in the years they've been in operation, or close to it. Wasn't a big fan of the sand grooming at 7:30/8:00am, or tree trimming. Didn't like the lack of authority towards some obnoxious guests there (shouting kids and barking dog at 11:30PM). Also, don't have a resort on the water and not have fishing poles for your guests to use. Went and bought 2 poles just to leave there, because it was cheaper than renting. I personally would have rather had poles than kayaks, or paddle boards.

The staff were very nice, and quick to service us when we needed more items for the room (towels, coffee pods, etc.). It's beautiful there! The pool is wonderful, gradually declines from 0 in. - 5 ft. Has a little bar there as well (didn't have anything from there). We stayed from Tuesday until the following Tuesday, and the guests were great as well. It wasn't until the weekend guests that made it bad for us. Otherwise, it was paradise! Also, probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on (including my own). My wife and I would stay there again, it is worth it to us!

Check in was a breeze; attendants were extremely friendly. The vibe of the entire property was very relaxing. Bartender, Marcus was wonderful as was the attendant for Kayaking. We hated to leave🥲

Overpriced once you see non-published details. I’m stuck between rating this place as fair or pleasant because so many things can be improved starting with the cleanliness of the room— the floors are filthy! Our toilet base was square but the toilet seat was oval?! They only have one ice machine on the whole property (near the entrance), super far from our room and docks. The sofa bed in our garden view suite was terrible— super uncomfortable both in the sofa and bed settings. Pillows are bad— the kind you lay your head on them and they smush all the way into nothingness. Our TV never worked.

Everything you could imagine about staying in the keys: beautiful tropical landscapes, nice pool, great activities that are included in the stay (kayaking and paddle boarding), lots of great restaurants and Publix nearby. Marcus at the pool bar was absolutely excellent!

As we had stayed in the purple cottage 10 years prior (for our wedding and honeymoon) it was quite surprising to experience the same difficulties with opening the closet door. The shower head should be replaced, and a longer shower curtain put in place to avoid flooding the bathroom floor when taking a shower. Minor issues. The pool could be better maintained as it is showing its age.

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary and since we had our wedding at La Siesta it was a very special visit! The staff were all friendly and the bottle of prosecco to welcome us was an even more special touch!

I feel this hotel is overpriced when you look at the poor service provided, the lack of attention from the staff at the registration desk, the dirty floor in the rooms… I booked a 2 bedroom suite for my family with 3 kids including a baby. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator and stairs to climb with our stroller. Plus the room was on 2 floors and this was not specified either. Not convenient at all with young kids. The room was not ready when we checked in because they were still cleaning it. Fine. However when we finally entered the room and let the kids enjoy it, we realize that the baby who had been crawling for less than 5 minutes had his hands, his feet and his knees all black. The floor was so dirty that I am sure it has never been mopped. Not what you expect from a 4 Star. The check in process was also bad. The young lady kept looking at her screen the whole time and didn’t look at me in the eyes once. I even had to ask her if she was listening to me when I was asking questions. She saw that I was travelling with my parents who are over 80 and with 3 young kids. She didnt even propose some water or a place to seat while we were waiting for our room. The room has a kitchenette. Which on paper is convenient when you have kids. But how are we supposed to eat our food with no plates and no cutlery. We asked and they gave us 2 plates for 7 people. Nice… Same for body wash and shampoo. They gave us 1 set for 7 people for 4 days. So people don’t take shower everyday in the Keys ? Last, while we were enjoying the pool the first day, we saw another large family who was loud, who was eating chips in the pool, playing their own music on a portable speaker, with a dog underneath the lounge chair… I mean how many rules do people have to break before the hotel team says something so that the other guests can enjoy their stay ? Nobody seems to care from the hotel staff.

The building we were placed in was very old and the floors were extremely dirty. The air conditioner did not go down past 76 the entire stay, we even had someone come up and look at it. The pull out bed was awful, unusable actually, the mattress was so thin and extremely uncomfortable. Last stay we were in a nicer and newer building which ultimately was the reason we came back to stay, not too sure we will return without confirmation of room before check in.

ONLY CLENED ROOM ONCE BOAT RAMP IS IN NEED OF REPAIR AND POPPED MY TIRES ON 2 SEPARATE VISIT STAFF IS UNRESPONSIVE - TRIED TO GIVE FEEDBACK AND REPEATEDLY IGNORED. ALSO VERY HARD TO GET AHOLD OF THEM.
