Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesElevator seem like it was going to breakdown. I requested 1st Floor as I do every time I travel. They claimed to have not seen my request and the hotel was completely booked. Toilet seat was loose, I tried to fix myself.
The location was perfect for our trip. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and more minutes away.

United Stateswe found the lack of carpeting and the cool, almost cold, colors left us feeling cold all the time (maybe it would be great in the middle of the summer!) also it made it feel very noisy all the time with the dogs - not sure I agree with your remodeling approach.
the breakfasts were awesome. your welcoming the dogs (and there were many more than ours) was really great. the location was very good - though next time I will request a room on the side away from I 35! The check in was easy and friendly.

United StatesThe room was great. My dislike was the coffee condiments. The Creamer was very old, was not powder but a brick in the paper container. Also, the carpet in the hallway. We understood that they are working in the hallways but they should vacuum the carpet periodically. There was paint chips, caulk and other items on the carpet that made it look worse than it was. Just think there should be more care to keep it tidy while under construction since you are working and still have customers. The hotel was great besides that. Customer service was great.

United StatesThe elevator made screeching noises and didn't feel safe. There was construction going on, which we didn't know about until we arrived, and we couldn't cancel at that point. The front desk never answered the phone when we called from our room many times. We bought ice cream from the convenience store and found it was melted. We informed the front desk that their freezer was not working, and they unloaded it and were getting it repaired. We told them about the melted ice cream, and we're not offered a refund or thanks for informing them about the freezer. The posted signs said there would be no construction noise on Saturday or Sunday, but there was still work going on those days.
The room was clean and well furnished with lots of space. Breakfast was good and tables maintained. The bathroom was well lit, and the hallways were clean, quiet, and comfortable.
