The view was from our location was mediocre, but it didn’t bother us much as we spent most of our time visiting all the different wineries and restaurants nearby.

The room was large, clean, a two person hot tub and bathroom shower. Excellent price for the room and convenient location to our destination. A lot of excellent food and wine locations nearby

Jan 6,2024 at 6am there was VERY loud music playing. I thought it was a person staying behind us. It stayed loud till 10:30 am! I’m talking loud ! The walls were rattling.I was going to stop by the lobby on my way out for breakfast and let them know that I have a rude neighbor. On my way down I realized it was the lobby! It was the staff playing this incredibly loud music. Def not able to relax ! Def needs to be upgraded. Was remodeled last year in 2023 but it’s still very outdated. Rusty water stained shower heads. Flies in the room and beetles in the room cause there is a huge gap under the front door. Not what I expected . A leaf blower was running at 9 am till about 11 . No black out curtains so the room is bright!

A bit tired, hot tub was not really hot and flooded the area if anyone got in. TV was not a smart TV so we couldn’t sign in or cast any streaming channels.

The only issues we had during our stay were mainly with the internet. Had problems with the internet the entire time. Both of us. That was kinda frustrating. The staff explained that they were switching providers or something, which might be interrupting the signal. Idk. The shower had its issues. The handle was old, & pretty janky. Shower worked, but it needs a new handle, among other things. It was an old shower, in need of some updating. I also kept having trouble with the door keys. Usually one of them would stop working. It's possible they were touching something that wiped them. Not sure.

The Kronborg Inn kinda saved our trip. We had a very busy, & semi- stressful days leading up to stay there. We actually got waylaid due to road closures on Highway 1. Took us a while to get down there as a result. The staff was so friendly & accommodating, plus we liked the room & the pool so much, that we almost immediately decided to add an extra night to our stay. Pool was awesome. Staff was great. Room was great. The hotel had a really nice vibe, all around. This hotel was a beacon of light for us on this trip & I won't forget that.

The coffee machine was a bit hard to manage a good coffee out of. I failed..but it made me go down town earlier and make more of my day.

Nice quirky country hotel. Staff super friendly. Location good. Walk to town. Easy free parking and wifi. Everything ran smooth The bed was exceptional

Clean, roomy comfortable.

Very big and clean room. King size bed. Pool was clean and warm and right out the sliding glass door at the rear of the room, which was really convenient and nice. No soda machine. The check in staff was friendly and efficient. Literally a 5 min walk to downtown Solvang. My only real complaint is that my room and I assume the rooms that face the main road into town is EXTREMELY noisy at night and even worse early morning. No sleeping in. I would stay again but request a room in the center court or rear of the Inn.
