Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No idea. They said they never got my late checkin request from Booking.com, canceled my reservation while I was in mid flight. I only found out when I got there after midnight. I had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. They charged me for one night.

Lack of pride in the property. Noisy A/c toilet plumbing noisy after flushing. Plastic sheets on mattress. Rug in room very dirty. No one paying attention at front desk had to ring the property to get someone to come out. I only stayed there a few hours did not sleep. Had to check into another hotel.

United StatesAs is the case with any hotel/motel in this class you can have unsightly characters also staying/living there. I didn't like residents hanging out at night in the lot in wooded areas in property.
The pandemic has affected almost every business worldwide, In Town Suits is no exception. They were operating on a two person staff yet they were very hands on. The manager Leslie called us personally before arrival to ensure she could accommodate our needs. And then called again upon checking out to make sure we had an enjoyable stay.

A white man from corporate seems to be racist, even a few nurses complaining about him. This so-called guy from corporate came beating down my door to get out because I was granted permission the day before, for a late checkout. Intown Suites has a lot of refugees staying there and this seems to have an effect on there customer service skill. Everyone is treated like a refugee and management likes to threaten guest about calling the police when stand up for what’s right. I had to fight with them to get my deposit back, very rude and disrespectful staff members.

United StatesThe air conditioning sounded like a chainsaw cutting through steel. The toilet ran constantly and made noise. I told the staff but nothing was done. They still haven’t refunded my $50 deposit.
