Unfortunately one bathroom door on our 2 rooms would not close. Shower heads very very powerful causing water to spray out of the showers on the bathroom floor in both rooms.

Knowing all the fees ahead of time.

I was a little surprised that I put in a request for early arrival and was not notified that if we arrived early there was a $30 early arrival check-in fee which we checked in at 1245pm and regular check-in was 1500. Also, held an additional $100 on my card until we checked out there is no mention of that anywhere I think it would have been important to know ahead of time that there would be additional monies held. Staff was friendly, rooms were very clean.

The washrooms need a renovation.

The Hotel serves its purpose of stay. Nothing fancy. The property is old, so you can expect how the old washrooms and carpets would be. The breakfast is good and works well for a family. Parking is ample and free.

The shower had a large crack on the floor and it leaked onto the floor of the bathroom. The sink was also leaking from underneath.

The room was cleaned with very strong smelling chemicals. It got better with the fan on high. I went out for two hours for it to clear. My second stay 4 days later was excellent. No strong chemicals.

The desk lady provided a few basic breakfast items at 4 am. Very nice gesture! The shuttle to the airport was adequate.

Hallway carpet (2nd floor) had a musty smell (most likely from whatever carpet cleaner is used); pillows way to small, recommend going back to standard size pillows; assume with the large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body soap and hand soap there should also be a large bottle of body lotion but there was none in room (unless there isn't any which in that case there should be).

Hotel super close to the fairgrounds; room was neat and clean; nice upgrade to the large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body soap in shower and hand soap by sink; quiet location; close to elevator; breakfast room was very clean (big plus) and coffee was excellent!

The breakfast was very underwhelming. Individual jelly packets were very old and inedible: they were almost solidified into a gummy inside.

The property is very clean. Although, it is right next to the highway, we were not bothered by traffic noise at night. We were less than a mile from the Fairgrounds.

They were very few staff. In one case, I’m almost certain I woke somebody up when I rang the bell at the front desk for assistance as they came out from around the back of the desk Breakfast was not stocked well, and no one was around to notify. Front desk staff were not at the desk at any time I came in or out of the hotel which caused security concerns for me as a solo female traveler. I was not asked to provide any proof of ID when I checked in. Lastly although I understand it is a personal preference, I thought the beds were uncomfortable.

The facility was fresh and clean, and had everything I needed. I chose it because of the location to the New York State Fairgrounds, which was perfect. It was also very close to everything in the area.

Communal microwave situated right next to the restaurant. Is that met as a message? Come on it's 2024. Not many room comes without the basic bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Get with the program... Staff should also grow a little smile...

The facility was fully booked but didn't seem to be staffed adequately. The coffee maker wasn't working in the morning. Also the automatic door openers were not all working.

It's convenient and easy to get to. There's a good restaurant on premises, although it was fully booked on Total Eclipse Day. Generally the rates are good compared to similar facilities.

They billed me out of sequence. The bathtub faucet was leaking quite bad. The breakfast was poor, milk was sour, the sausage looked pale with no color. Also, had an off taste.

Just an average old hotel. AC Unit kept going on and off very loudly during the night. The bathtub did not fill up/keep the water.

Conveniently close to turnpike, price was good. Spacious room. Very small but function fitness room. Breakfast was ok, really nothing special but started very early which is convenient too.
