Our room was in a separate building from the front desk and breakfast room. It didn’t matter at all during our stay, the walk over was a pleasure with the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings, but had the weather been worse it might have been a nuisance.

The hotel was beautiful and the (very large) grounds incredibly well kept. We had a balcony with a view over the lake which was splendid. We would have wished for bacon in the breakfast buffet, but other than that everything was perfect.

The outside yard furniture could have been cleaner but it was usable.

The Inn was neat, clean, well appointed, and quiet. The room was a bit small but beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful in a sunny setting with all the amenities. Will definitely stay again for a longer period of time.

Stairs up to our room was difficult for my mother in law, who uses a cane.

The only suggestion I’d make. Some of the exterior areas looked like they needed some tlc. Chipped paint on railings, outside chairs near lodging that needed to cleaned, etc..

There was no black tea available. When I went to desk on first night of checkin and asked for just black tea none could be found. The next day at breakfast I asked again. The young server brought one bag of black decalf tea with a spice.

Beautiful property with easy access to State Park. Enjoyed Tuesday night program with music.

My wife has allergies to dogs and cats. When she woke in the mornings she had minor allergic reactions from past pet stays in our room. It would be great if you had rooms that were for people only.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly and professional, location and cleanliness great. One of our favorite places to stay. Elegant buildings, beautiful views and the outdoor spaces just make you want to linger and relax.

Nothing… this place is perfect and worth the money.

Absolutely ideal location over looking the Cayuga lake, moments away from hiking to the Taughannock falls. The grounds are well maintained with gorgeous gardens and well thought out areas to sit and relax. It has an outdoor fireplace that is over the top for a cool nights stay. Also it would be an ideal spot to have a garden wedding with many different spots to choose from. The room was beautifully decorated with attention to detail with a comfy bed and linens. Breakfast was included with the room and well worth the money spent situated in the Victorian Garden room with exquisite views to enjoy!

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! The lakeside cottage room was spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds and a stunning balcony view. The shower was great, and the breakfast in the charming old-style dining room was delightful. The best part? Easy parking and a short walk to Taughannock waterfall trails. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!
