Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Statesno utensils cups, tea coffee maker provided as said in advertisements. No internet connection every time I hooked up to it, and the heavy smell of marijuana in the hallway in the morning and at night, people asking for money or cigarettes. Had originally picked the location further down on the expressway but were shifted by booking. com to this one, as told by the girl on duty, also was supposed to be a king bed but was told the room had been trashed and not available so was given a queen room. In all, won’t stay there again .

United StatesBreakfast: You shouldn't advertise that you serve any kind of breakfast if all you serve is coffee and an envelope to make your own hot cereal. It's false advertising. I will think twice before letting the "breakfast" offer sway me to choose a hotel in the future.
It was more affordable than many other hotels in the area. Everything was in working order, too.

United StatesI checked into the Extended Stay - NW Expressway location around midnight, expecting a quiet and clean environment. Unfortunately, my experience was severely lacking. The room was not only dirty, but I also found dirty towels in the bathroom, adding to my discomfort. To make matters worse, the television was not hooked up to any cable, leaving me without even the option to drown out the noise. The night was further disrupted by a loud birthday party in the rooms across from and next to mine, with yelling that continued throughout the night without intervention from the hotel staff. After enduring hours of this chaos, I had no choice but to check out at 4 AM. This stay was extremely disappointing, and I urge the hotel to address these issues promptly to ensure future guests do not encounter similar problems.

United StatesWe scheduled arrival between 22:00-23:00 , I called to let them know we had hit some traffic and it may be 23:30 when we got there. I was told “you stay is only good until 2:00am for check in”. This wasn’t noted anywhere in the policy or in my previous called to ask about pet check in. I asked for a ground floor room because my dog is paralyzed and upon arrival no ground floor rooms were available. When we got up stairs to the room they assigned us the key didn’t work. Once we got a new key and were able to enter the room the entire room smelled of urine and the bed was even worse. The floor was sticky and we couldn’t even really go inside. I went back down stairs and they gave us a new room on the ground floor. This room thankfully didn’t smell of urine but was filthy. None of the surfaces were wiped down, the bathroom counter and vanity still had tooth paste on them, the bathtub was filthy and the floors was again sticky. I couldn’t even shower there, the curtain was molded and disgusting. The towels didn’t smell like they had been changed either. The rooms have kitchenettes, but the fridge, counter, stove and microwave were again filthy and there is not even 1 bowl left in the cabinets for use. The bedspreads and sheets were covered in cigarette burn holes and stains. The beds weren’t terribly uncomfortable. 2 of the outlets did not work and 2 of the lights didn’t work either. Unless you are desperate I would avoid this location. I have stayed at SO MANY extended stays and never been in one this dilapidated and poorly maintained.
The front office employee was very friendly and patient. I had no staffing issues.

United StatesThe first room we were in did not have a working smoke detector. The tv did not work initially. the beds were very uncomfortable. There were cigarette burn on the blanket. The worst part was the toilet would not flush. We were offered a different room and when we began to move we found cockroaches in the new room. The conditions were horrible and we left the second day in the afternoon. So we were subject to late checkout.
The refrigerator in our room was new. The coffee was good. There was nothing else that was any good. And I was over charged because I only stayed one night and left due to horrible conditions. So I need to get most of y money back.
