Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United States#1…. There was no tv remote. The desk lady brought one to our room. #2……. There was not one dish, cup or water glass . Things you would really expect to find in an extended stay type of room. The desk lady brought a tub of that stuff to our room with the explanation that nothing is being left in the rooms due to Covid. #3….no ice bucket. We didn’t even ask about that. No washcloths or hand towels. Didn’t ask about that one either! The worst part was the bed!! The mattress is zipped up in some type of cover that makes a loud crunching noise when ever you move. Not to mention horribly uncomfortable. And last but not least, the room cost us 166.00 for one night. On the printed receipt it states that at this price point not enough money was spent to qualify for their rewards program! Not that I have any desire to join but seriously?

United StatesI felt sorry for the ONE person checking in a line of 15+ people. After 30 minutes in line I asked the three guys ahead of me if I could give them each $50 toward dinner to go ahead of them and they agreed. THEN when it was my turn the lady wanted my wife's ID. We've been to over 60 countries and never had this question (excluding passports). So the delay continues as I walk outside to get her ID. Extended Stay is a JOKE. No dishes, silverware, coffee pot NOTHING but 1/2 roll of TP plus one spare, two TINY bars of soap--NOTHING ELSE. Could they print a boarding pass NO, Got ice NO NEVER AGAIN

United StatesIt smelled wretched. Like someone had recently died in the room. The facility was incredibly dirty. We couldn’t sleep because all the people staying around us kept slamming their doors. We weren’t even given a small refund back even though we paid for 3 nights and only slept here 1/2 a night. What a complete waste of money. We were so nauseated by the smell we had to leave. They didn’t have a single room available to switch us to so we left and rented another stay somewhere else. We also won’t be booking through Booking.com either. The hotel tried to give us a refund back for the 2 nights (once they found out how bad it was and didn’t have another room available to move us to) but couldn’t because we booked through Booking.com. We filed a claim and never heard back. Won’t make that mistake twice.

Aldo, there were no pots, pans or toaster in the room. The lady had the audacity to say I don’t have time to clean dishes.

The room had an odor even after I sprayed Lysol everywhere the carpet was dirty and stained. The kitchen looked very old and a cabinet door was missing. I also wiped everything we would touch with Clorox wipes I felt that I had to. I will never stay here again.
