Galveston needs to build more restaurants near this location.

I was not aware they had balcony beach veiw rooms. Tried to upgrade to empty room but wanted $43 more so it stayed empty.

Great they had breakfast on site. Cleaned my room even though they said they were only doing three days.

Nothing could have been better. Loved the hotel being next to a theater. My grandkids and I saw the new Jurassic movie one night after the pool closed.

The hot breakfast was delicious and we had an ocean view. The walk to the beach was 680 steps. The staff were wonderful and our room was very clean. We plan on staying there every year.

Breakfast was 7 to 9am daily. It would be nice to have it until 10am. There were so many ppl and lines.

When we walked in there was a cockroach on the wall, the sheets had burn holes in them, there was stains on the pull out couch and on the floor.

The finishes were “tired” and the facility really needs a refresh…. The staff was friendly and helpful but we had to ask for things that should have been already in place…. like a nonslip mat for the bathtub….. and enough towels and wash clothes for our registered guests…. And… there’s a clear break in communication between the booking firm and the hotel….

The customer service was poor. Arrived in the evening on a prior booking, could not immediately access my room due to key not working. I got it replaced. Entered room and attempted to watch tv, it was static with no viewing service. I go to the bath room there's a huge cockroach on the floor. Take a shower and the water does not get hot, only Luke warm, in addition to shower head doesn't put out the water in a forceful flow/ stream. And to top it off , woke up the next morning to make coffee and it still had an old bag of used coffee in the filter..😣DISGUSTING!q

Facilities were run down. Key cards didn’t work on multiple occasions. Black out curtain missing from half the window in the room. Dryer vent was disconnected in the laundry area. There were NEVER extra towels available and we had our 3 kids with us and needed towels.

The Tv went out & they waited 2 days before switching our room. Some staff members were rude & the hotel card key kept messing up to let us back in causing us to have to keep getting replacements

First night checking in, Lights flickered on us at first before leaving to go to store. My companion was stuck in the elevator the front desk clerk had to get him out. Come back from store in stormy rain was stuck in car hotel had no power. Rain stop had access to room but power was out for about 6 hrs. We had a 2 night stay. You would think we would get a sorry for the inconvenience or complimentary anything but nothing. 11am on 2 day check out, the housekeeper knock on door to put us out. No breakfast on first stay due to no power. Check out day breakfast was not that good, eggs had a lot of water in it. Sausage were over and under cook. Different varieties but person preparing breakfast should've put some love into it instead of that slop.

Janitor was trying to get in to fix a toilet after I arrived and did not knock...seems like he should have known the room was checked out and the problem should have been fixed before I was allowed to check in.

Great maid service and front end workers. Very kind.
