We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesConcerned the side entrances did not lock at night and require a key card to get in. Security issue. While a little inconvenient, most hotels i have visited have auxiliary entrances locked at night to prevent unmonitored entry. This is the only issue I had. The hotel was very nice & I would stay there again when traveling to McCook.
Location, friendly staff, quiet, clean, large rooms. I was very comfortable. Nice grounds. Very good value for the price. There were a number of places nearby to eat or shop.

The assistant manager of the property checked us in. She was very nice and helpful. We have had several bad experiences with Booking.com. This trip was one of them. We had to make several changes with our reservation well before our travel dates. Booking.com confirmed the changes had been completed. However, at check-in, we had double the amount of rooms in our reservation than we were supposed to have because Booking.com did not notify the property although they confirmed the cancelations with me on our account and through email. But, the staff of Horsecreek Inn was very helpful and made our stay pleasant regardless of the issues because of Booking.com. THEN, there were issues with payment. The reservation on Booking.com states that payment will processed directly with the property. We had to pay for rooms with card other than the one used on the reservation. This should not have been an issue being that payment was dealt directly with property. But Booking.com would not allow property to charge our card. Luckily, the front desk let us check in and worked with the night audit to process everything correctly. We will definitely stay at Horsecreek Inn again. BUT will book directly with the property and will NOT be using Booking.com again in the future.
