Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesBed could've been a tiny bit more comfortable for the price of two days. Room Service had a language barrier; I wasn't able to ask for them to come back later. Even without me asking for them to come back later, Room Service didn't come back to check. The shower head sprayed water; it collected on the floor.
Location was good, the environment was friendly. Room was in good condition when entering. Bed was comfortable enough to sleep in. The bathroom was nice, organized, kept well. Water heater worked spectacularly, toilet had a cushion, sink worked mighty fine.

United StatesThe furnishings were serviceable and comfortable but walls could use a paint refresh. Biggest complaint was hot water in shower...it would occasionally turn cold briefly and back to warm during the shower. An unexpected wake-up!
The location was great and the included parking was hugely helpful. The room had everything we needed, with two-drawer nightstands, a comfortable bed, desk, extra chair and huge closet. The mini-refrigerator with separate freezer was also appreciated, as was the ability to control the air conditioning. Staff were helpful and responsive. The shared lounge area with water/ice dispenser and coffee in the morning was also nice to refill water bottles and start the day. Some people used it as a quiet place to work.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I love the location and I've never had issues with finding parking in their garage. Beds are comfy too! I also really like that there are a lot of security cameras in the hallways. I always felt safe coming and going at different times of the day and night.

United StatesWe were staying at the 4th floor and the internet was terrible!! 70% of the time was disconnected when we at the room. Even when we connected to the wifi, it wasn't stable at all. We couldn't even send out iMessage or open Google, don't even think you can watch Youtube/Netflix!

The room was spacious, there was a bath tub in the bathroom, and the room had a decent sized walk in closet. Since it's a home + hotel, we are provided with everything from desk to refrigerator. There are water dispenser and microwave near the lobby so it's really convenient for people who stays for quite some time. The staffs were very helpful too! Our room was cleaned everyday. And the free parking is a plus! And it is conveniently located in Ktown, so it was just a couple minutes walk to all the famous korean restaurants in town. Would love to stay here again sometimes!

Poland* parking was very tight actually - it wasn’t easy to get my small car in the only spot that was available (it doesn’t help that the surface was not totally flat as I drive a shift-stick car). I got it in and barely had space to get out of the car * parking was full at 11:30pm; they said they could double park but they also seem to have a deal with a restaurant so I was allowed to park in their garage for the night though - but then I had to go around the building to get to the car * the bathroom was really small and definitely needs to be updated/renovated * the tv was quite confusing - a printed list with the channels probably would help a lot * my lock didn’t work well; it was either too difficult to turn it or not working at all; I tried to push the door and then turn it but still didn’t work
