Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Statesthe bathroom didn't have a fan and the door was very hard to open and close. There was no lock on the bathroom door either.
If the breakfast hours were later we would have ate there, but when we are on vacation with teenagers eating breakfast before 9 was a no go for us.

United StatesI've been to Home 2, in other states. When it came time for family to check in for mom's funeral, They wouldn't except them, because I wasn't there. Until I called & became upset. I had to cancel my flight, because I was tested positive for Covid, the day before my flight. But, I was still paying for my family's stay. Then, they said, that my card only paid for one room!? There was plenty there to more than cover it all. North East, Home2, wasn't as friendly as the south.

United StatesMaybe because of the holiday, but I didn't feel like it was a good value for the price we paid, although this was clean and well maintained and nice staff.
Standard breakfast, decent choices. Very clean facilities and well maintained. Overall a quiet place considering we stayed there on a holiday. Good location outside the busy-ness of Burlington and convenient to the highway.

United StatesThere was no fan in the bathroom! With three adults in a room, you really want a fan for white noise in a close space with thin walls like that. That’s another thing - thin walls. You can hear everything. We were above the pool, and I was inclined to ask for a discount because of the noise, but the swimmers left before I was annoyed enough to do anything. Also, there should have been a comforter or another blanket for the pullout couch, and for both queens. Hotels never give you enough pillows or blankets. The location is convenient to highways, but there’s nothing scenic or friendly about it. It’s in a mall area. I had people at a table eating outdoors next door to our side of the hotel looking in at us. Lots of traffic. No walking or anything natural. This is, in my opinion, an expensive room. I know it isn’t, for Burlington standards, but when all was said and done, it was about $360/night for that room. I know that isn’t high end any more, but that’s insane. That’s a huge amount of my paycheck to be able to go to my daughter’s graduation. So I feel it isn’t a great value. But, despite these drawbacks, this is really a nice room in a decent hotel.
This hotel has nice sized rooms with pretty much everything you need; it’s like a little studio apartment. Two queen beds plus a pullout couch with bedding in one of the many drawers (great place for long term stays!). A long curtain that can separate the beds area from the couch and desk/table area. Yeah, there’s a desk that can pull out/tuck away, with a decent chair, lots of countertop space, lots of shelves. There’s a kitchenette with a nice size sink, nice size fridge/freezer- not like a college fridge. It’s impressive. There’s a coffee/tea maker, and a hot plate with a small sauté pan. I didn’t check for silverware, but wish I had. The location is fine. It’s convenient to Rt 2 and 89, which is nice. Burlington is about ten minutes away. There’s a small saltwater pool, which is awesome, and a small workout room with some machines. The woman at the desk when we signed in was awesome. The guy when we signed out was good too. This is our second time at a Home2 Suites, and I really like the layout and appointment of the rooms. They’re functional and comfortable.
