Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesReception is with bad smell with Weed and smoke. Not safe place for family. We didnt stay in this location. Rooms are unclean and not good for kids and ladies. This is the first time i had to book another hotel due to bad experience and worst environment. Please repay my money.

The places looked horrible. We had booked 6 rooms and when we arrived we were told they had no rooms. And they couldn't refund any money I'd have to go through my booking app. This place was not as advertised at all. Very disappointing. We had to go find other rooms somewhere else. Staff was rude and not helpful at all :(

I called the hotel to let them know what we are on the way...The staff of the hotel never answered the phone... i called to the phone that listed on the website, it was callcenter representative... when we arrived....the reputation of the hotel is very questionable... the door in the hotel was locked and a very strange person that was smoking inside the hotel in the lobby opened the door....I booked the room online for my son, his wife and for myself when we came to this place we couldn't stay there... I told all these things to the person on the phone.... he said I should call booking.com...I thought it was a booking.com representative...from booking the room to the cancelation it took about 30-45 minute, the price for the room was $91 after all these things the hotel or booking.com gave me refund $3.50.... they charged me the cancelation fee $86.14...what a scam and disrespect to the people, they are taking the advantage of traveling people.. the pict of the hotel on the website doesn't show the reality. I had no idea about it.... I would never recommend this place to anyone....

United StatesThe place was filthy, with hallways full of garbage. No A/C in the room despite advertising such. The shower had no hot water. The bathroom doesn't even have a sink. The front door does not have 24 hour service despite advertising such. This is especially an issue because the main door to the staircase is locked and requires a staff member to open it.

United StatesRoom was filthy, curtains appalling, toilet broken, and would not flush, bathroom total disrepair, tub was awful stained and dirty, no outlet in bathroom, no smoke detector, no one available for checkout, no accessories available in room,. You had to be buzzed in to get to your room, no hot water until you let the hose in the bathtub run for about half hour, smelled of cigarettes pretty bad, door key was extremely difficult to function, pretty sad! Then found out from locals that place has a bad reputation for illegal drug activity and murders.
The host was hard to understand but helpful.
