We have stayed here twice now, a year apart, and the renos are still very apparent throughout the property. I found the rooms to be not quite finished. The bathrooms and some of the finishing details need work. It looks rushed. The elevators are also very old and LOUD!

The food in the bar was delicious, and the servers were amazing. The pool is great for families, which is why we booked this hotel, although it was quite cold.

We had a kitchen but it was totally empty so not sure what the point of it was, plus the refurb was very cold and it echoed as there was no carpet very disappointing.

The staff in the restaurant and bar were slow and inattentive, our server spent more time visiting with acquaintances than doing her job, we eventually had to go and request menus in order to get any service and the food quality was only fair.

The bathroom fan was constantly on and was very loud. The meal in the hotel bar was not great and was too expensive.

there was a huge ball of hair in the tub which was a turnoff. there was a very very strong smell of weed coming through the vent in the bathroom.

location to shopping, eating, airport….was excellent. the front desk clerk when we arrived was awesome!! it was very quiet.

Only one chair in the room and it was broken. Asked for a first floor room and was put on the third floor way across from the elevator for my elderly father.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though the hotel is smoke free.

There were children running around not being supervised in and around the pool. Our granddaughter was injured by a unsupervised child in the pool climbing into the waterslide as children were coming down. There were also some sketchy looking and acting employees all over the hotel. They were rude and unhelpful.

It’s clearly in need of updating but I didn’t mind that so much. They were also clearly short staffed which I really did want to be understanding of. I stayed 6 nights, never even asked for a room cleaning in that time, so sort of feel like I was doing my part to be considerate. Some staff were lovely but others were just conspicuously rude. They also told me there was no group rate for the conference I was attending…which turned out to be incorrect, and then it was a nightmare trying to get a simple receipt for my employer. Would not do again.

It was easy to get to and plenty of parking. Convenient to have restaurant on site.

One of the workers not sure exactly how it was, was micromanagement the kids in the pool. He actually came up and popped a kids inflatable and threw it in the garbage, kicked a teenager out of the pool area for having a drink of soda. The lady at the front desk on check in told family members we were not there 30 minutes after arriving because she was too interested in her phone. They said our room was a 2 bedroom suite. It was really a king room and a two bed queen room with a door the connects the two rooms like any other hotel has. The parking lot had a pair of bloody underwear in it. With a bunch of signs that stated how the property is not responsible for any theft or violence to or from vehicles.

The waterslide in the pool was a nice bonus for the kids. The pool was quite shallow. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
