Having only valet parking, while free, was frustrating. One night they couldn't locate our vehicle and we had to wait 40 minutes for them to find it. The pool was chilly and there was some broken decorations near the pool that my son stepped on that hurt his foot. I had to dig a piece out with tweezers. No breakfast was offered which was a bummer for the price we paid.

We liked the comfortable beds and the size of the room. Having space was great! The kitchenette was so helpful to have and the bathroom was really nice too. It was pretty quiet and we enjoyed the hot tub. Free parking was a big plus, even though we wished it wasn't valet.

The pool and jacuzzi had lots of insects, not sure if it is the flying ants. The vent in the room do needs cleaning because I can see lots of dust inside the vents. Every time I turned on the heater, it caused me to cough. I ended up not using for the last two days when I saw how dirty the vent was. My cough is still lingering from the dirty vents. I do enjoyed the steam room and sauna. The steam room broke down on my last night there.

The staff are great, especially Abigail. She came over and addressed our concerns when we first arrived. I enjoyed the steam room and sauna. It was relaxing after a long day of hiking.The room is very spacious and nice.

the valet staff was a little aggressive in getting the car moved which led to no time to think, about what you needed to get out of the car which caused items to be left in the car and another trip to retrieve. This happened on my 2023 trip too.

Rook was lovely but the bed / pillows were not the most comfy I've slept in but they were OK. Set back up a hill behind the main town and to be fair the hotel has a free shuttle service , the fact we had an issue with our phones and couldn't get the app was on us not the hotel. Nice walk down to the town but wouldn't want to walk back up!! Would defineteky recommend and stay again

Everything was amazing. The only thing I would change is that we we are told there's only valet parking. I wish I had known beforehand so I could have brought cash to tip the valet.

Good location right next to heaveny tram, and also we definitely liked the free valet parking Rudy greeted us when we arrived and he was awesome. The hotel has gaming room and coffee bar which was closed when we were there but they had coffee in the lobby overall will stay here again next time we go to south tahoe. Will recommend it to my friends n family

Fold out bed was not the most comfortable place to sleep but they never are. The kitchen ware was all plastic - plastic plates, plastic utensils, paper cups, rather than actual dishes, coffee mugs, and silverware.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub (though it was often full!) and the valet was quick. Loved the easy walk to the tramway to get up the mountain.

Lots of night noise due to the ski machinery, I guess fixing /cleaning ski courses. Although close to the ski center, not too many nearby options to eat.

Literally 3 min walk to Heavenly, the closest hotel from the California entrance. Really nice 2 ambient, clean and spacious. Staff was super helpful. Valet parking included.

The rooms have been recently remodeled and are worse than they previously were. Basically minimal facilities. This time they didn’t offer even the minimal breakfast service that used to be available last year (but maybe this was a temporary problem)

The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from the slopes. The staff is also very helpful and super friendly.

It was a great location for a ski trip It was a beautiful location a bit up the mountain less than 5 minutes walk to ski fields at California Lodge. The room was very spacious and very impressive, all amenities, massive rooms with nice views.

Service was otherwise meh. The staff talked me out of getting my room cleaned. When we ran out of body wash, just left a canister in the room instead of replacing it ( it took a bit to figure it out). There was a dusting of snow the first night, nobody salted the driveway which is sloped and I slipped and fell. It would be nice if they had a restaurant there as nothing is nearby. We went to Safeway and bought items to be microwaved, and the had a coffee maker in the room.

Great location with a short walk to the Heavenly tram. Parking was valet only which I usually hate, but the service there was very quick.

This property has not become a part of Hilton resort and their customer service and payment portals have deteriorated since. They overcharged me for the room last minute at the property, they didn't refund money for canceled reservations. The only response you get from the front desk is we cannot do anything - contact hilton reservations or booking.com.

No breakfast. The stay is very close to Heavenly California Lodge and that is the biggest plus for this property.
