This is our fifth stay at Hilton Oakland Airport. It’s close to the airport and has a reliable shuttle service. There is a nice bar/restaurant that serves good food in a comfortable environment. The rooms are clean and in our experience, quiet. The hotel and food service staff are extremely kind and helpful.

It was LOUD. They should put the people that come first on the top level. It was LOUDthe tub was chipped and there was dust on the ceilings.

The manager was racist rude and condescending I contacted lives matter and the NAACP I also reached out to a civil rights attorney..... Before they act we're going to bring seven on your side up there and have them do an investigation..... And also I'll be contacting my contacts at kblx stand KTVU

The manager who checked us in, "Mitch Garcia" was flat and unfriendly. He did not seem to care that we were dropping over $200 to stay in his hotel for 10 hours before our morning flight. Check in is not a nice experience, although fast. The Hotel itself is run down and old for a Hilton. Pictures are not what they seem. We got a room with a king bed, a desk, and one old sloppy chair in the corner. There was no couch and there was no table to eat at. The TV was obviously a 10 year old flat screen. The vending machines were no where to be found and there is no safe places to walk to for dinning. The location is close to the airport but outside of the hotel complex, it is a zombie-like apocalyptic society. One block away from the Hilton there's a huge street dedicated to skid row, piles upon piles of RVs in line together with tents out that look like they have been there for over 30 years, we're housing homeless people. Not safe to walk around at night at all. Outside our window was 12 AC turbines roaring all night and day for a building not connected to the Hotel. Heard through the closed windows, you could not sleep well. The hallways and elevators all smelled horribly toxic from the cleaning agents being used. Finally, the shuttle service. Their drivers drive crazy fast and hectic! Also you are treated like you don't matter as a paying customer to the hotel, because we requested shuttle service and when the shuttle pulled up, we were ushered to the side curb and told to stand back as we had to watch the Royalties, a.ka. flight crews, get VIP shuttle service from the lobby doors to the shuttle. The driver told us to wait and he would be back. WTF?! There was only 4 flight crew employees on a shuttle bus that holds 18 passengers! This we did not understand and it was not respectful of our stay at this crappy, run down, Oakland Airport Hilton.

Only the location to the airport for 1 overnight stay is the convenience of this old, uncomfortable, run down Hilton.

Hotel is OLD and in need of upgrading. Like a 70s time warp. Bed was lumpy, Bathroom was small. TV was flat screen but tiny.

The parking situation is extremely vague--we payed for parking but getting in and out required talking to the attendant (who was very nice) But everything worked out.

It's a very welcoming atmosphere. We were thrilled that our dog could stay with us and there were lots of places for him to exercise. The location was perfect, so near to the Oakland Airport. The room was nice, not outstanding but very nice.

The walk-in shower floor is somewhat slippery. For an older adult like me (86) it was a little scary. My walk-in shower at home is not slippery. Having said that, the pull-down bench made it less scary. Also, the shower head is on a bar that allows the shower head to be moved up and down. The adjustment needs to be replaced or repaired.

The clerk at the reservation desk was able to give me a room with a walk in shower

Washing machine in laundry was outdated It broke while I was washing my clothes Causing me a major inconvenience Refrigerator in my Room was not at all working properly causing my food to spoil This hotel did not come anywhere close to meeting my expectations

Not having daily clean up, having to go to lobby for vending machines and water, expensive to park, no room service. Wasn’t told about free breakfast at checkin. Too much to continue.

Restaurant could be a bit better staffed, but food was good.

Friendly, courteous staff. Room quiet, clean, very comfortable. Free breakfast, and airport shuttle. We've stayed at almost every other place in the area and this, though slightly higher priced was well worth it. We will defiantly stay there when we fly out of Oakland.
