At no fault of the facilities, the weather did not allow me to walk and explore the surrounding area. The street parking could be more guest user friendly.

We did not have a chance to have breakfast, but it looked well displayed. I appreciated the staff at check in and check out. Friendly, helpful and lovely personalities. I was struggling with the parking situation and they helped me make a safe and reasonable choice.

The man at check-in acted like I was a huge inconvenience for trying to check in. The bed and pillows were horribly lumpy and uncomfortable. The hotel was incredibly expensive (it was Kalamazoo, not New York!), and the hotel charged $20 to park - which was $5 more than the garage itself was charging.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff were very kind and helpful.

Everything was pretty good but there is a bar tender who refused to make us bloody Mary's because she doesn't like what they look like.

The bar and food were subpar and I anticipated a large round window with amazing view for the room I booked however that room I was assigned did not have this.

There isn't much to complain about. I would've liked for the rooms to be a little more spacious and have extra comforter set.

I liked how clean and well lit the lobby was, checking in was a breeze as well as checking out. The staff was friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. Also the room was clean and had no odor which is a plus.

Nice Location & Modern Hotel But Need Better Quality Control Before Renting The Rooms Out

We had issues with our TV but maintenance came-up quickly (almost 10:00PM) and fixed it. The pool was closed and I think they should note that in their listings as we were looking forward to using it. We only had one coffee cup in our room, the filters for the AC unit were sitting on top of it and not installed, there was a large metal drain cover trim piece standing up in the shower (18"-24" long) that I had to re-install myself, and the outlet in the bathroom wasn't working but I found a tripped circuit breaker in the panel in our room and fixed it myself. They need better quality control. I expect more from a Hilton property and I chose to pay more because of the brand.

The location was good for things to do in downtown Kalamazoo. Parking is additional but has a connected parking structure which was nice. The cost was $20.00 per day but they give you as many re-entry passes as you like. If you just want to park (and not leave) and not use the hotel option it looks like it would have been $15.00 for the night. It's a nice, clean, and modern hotel that's centrally located.

I paid for the parking garage at check out. I had to pay a second time when I left the parking garage because it would not accept the ticket that they gave me. There were people behind me so I couldn’t back up and go back into the hotel I had to pay the second time. That is the only thing that I did not like about staying in your hotel.

All of the Personnel were very friendly and obliging. Answered every question that I had about anything very caring and professionally.

Look above nothing to like only its close to walking we go to hotel up the street to eat and get some drinks so much cheaper

Rooms are not very high-quality toilet holder wasbroke they always make excuses that on a boat or not able for supplies. Manger the last time would not even come out for a conversation. Pillows are very bad quality beading even very light. No shampoo again this visit or soap. Get nothing extra for over 200 dollars a night.

Breakfast was bad , beagle I got was so old I took a bite and threw it out. I tried toasting that bagle but waitress told me the toaster will start fire.

    Location is great.

The remodel of the Masonic Temple into the hotel is excellent. I especially like the artwork tying back to Gibson, Heritage & the original Gibson factory. It's great to see hotels tie in elements of city history. Second - and probably most important is the staff. Very good with a special shout out to Alicia who took personal care of our reservation when Booking messed it up. She is top notch!!

I saw dog hair, staff was impersonal on 1st and 3rd shift. The staff did not match the quality of the establishment. I should be welcomed with a smile and a “Welcome to the Hilton Garden Inn!” The TV was more friendly than the staff. I didn’t even know the staff worked there. They wasn’t rude.

The room was beautiful! The TV had my name on it saying welcome! The location is excellent!

my room had two tiny windows like a jail cell (not big windows like the ad showed). Room was tucked way back in a corner, top floor, felt unsafe. coffee maker doesn’t work and they charge for coffee in lobby. Ordered dinner from the restaurant… out of fries so they gave chips but charged full price. Food was not good. $20 a night parking? my ramp ticket showed it was going to cost $14 but hotel is making money! half the lightbulbs in my room were burnt out.

    it’s decorated nice and clean
