Poor lighting in the room. No lounge chair or sofa. One corner of the room was really dark. It needs a floor lamp or can lights. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

I wish they offered Splenda for coffee and not just sugar and Sweet-N-Low.

The rooms are very clean and well appointed. Any staff I encountered was very nice. The breakfast had fresh watermelon which I thought was a bonus.

Nothing to complain.

Was greeted warmly and had a smooth transition to get my key. They were great about my dog as well, made it easy to travel with her. The room was large, very clean, the area around the hotel was also good for walking dog/clean and sidewalks. Overall sleep was very comfortable, and the bathroom products were great as well. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the fruit all very fresh. Good coffee as well.

Great location. Not far from Burlington and other attractions, such as Shelburne farm, Vermont Teddy Bear factory, etc. Clean and nice size room. 2 queen beds + sofa bed. Comfortably fits parents and 2 upper teens.

Oddly, no place to hang up clothing. I couldn’t hang up my scrubs, small and petty, but odd.

Clean, great neighborhood, staff was friendly and helpful, lady at night was extremely polite and kind with my late arrival after a horrible day driving.

I didn’t like the barn door on the bathroom. It was very heavy to open and close. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Clean and taken care of. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

The room was exactly as advertised. It was a spacious king-size room. The kitchen had a fridge, dishwasher, stovetop, dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. The bathroom was stocked with lotion, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming.

When I got to my room the door was unlocked and open... It looked like someone had sat on the bed. I did go back down to make sure it wasnt someone else's room. It was not but it still made me feel uneasy. The two nights I stayed went well. First night was way over priced as they upcharge for the Eclipse but the second night was a normal price. The only thing was the walls were not very sound proof as I heard the people's TV next to me and the choldren runing back and forth above me. I will ask for a top floor next time.

Everyone was very nice at the hotel.... The WIFI was good . Easy to access so I could work from my room at night. I felt it is easy to get to and located very close to lots of shops and food places. The hotel smelled very nice when you walked in. Not sure what they use but it was nice and refreshening.

Walls are paper-thin. We could hear people talking next door, on both sides. Also, the sign on the front of this hotel says La Quinta. We drove around in circles to find the Hawthorne hotel. Please put up a sign that says Hawthorne Suites!

Some dishes needed to be rewashed before using (old sponge smell). Located near restaurants and shops but still had to drive (not very walkable).

Room and suite amenities were new and nice, more than I needed for a short stay. Easy drive to ski areas.

Breakfast was great! It was a nice variety of foods and I was able to have a great breakfast before skiing which held till afternoon.

I did not like that you charged a fee for damage/security. I know it was temporary and it never showed up on my bill, but I have stayed at many places around Stowe (have never ventured towards the Burington area until now) and was slightly insulted that you would assume paying guests might damage the property. That was weird to me. Maybe that is the new America.

We did not stay for breakfast as we were there for only one night.

I couldn’t figure out how to regulate the room temp so that it was just right. Also, the vent over the kitchen seating area always seemed to blow cold. I just shut it off completely at one point and it was fine.

The property is exactly as depicted. It was immaculate, full sized refrigerator, induction stove top, basic pot and pan, and full sized Dove products in the shower have it a “home away from home” feel. It made it feel like we were staying in a mini condo.

AMAZING! So so clean. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast consisted of fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle maker, various breads and cereals. Pretty sure this place was just renovated, everything was so new. 10/10 would stay here again.

breakfast was the worst part of the stay - the hot stuff just looked unappetizing, and the person working the breakfast was very rude.

Brand new hotel we were upgraded to a suite, HUGE room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa, a fridge, and mini kitchen. no pool front desk staff were great.
