Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWas over charged and had to go back and ask for a refund. Shower head was out of the wall....I asked about it and was told nothing. Cable was out the entire stay. Housekeeping didn't put my shower curtain back in and had to shower without a curtain.

United StatesThe water from the shower drained slowly causing a backup of water in the tub. The carpet had a couple of dirty/ stained spots on the floor. Otherwise everything was great.
The breakfast was tasty and offered variety. The hotel location was close to our ultimate destination but still quietly secluded. The bed was comfortable.

United StatesThe woman checking us in seemed new. But the woman who she asked for help was awesome. Gave feedback on restaurants in the area. Really engaging. The other lady seemed very uninterested and did not have knowledge of the area. There was a male employee who stared us down as we got on the elevator. When we got off on to our floor he was on the same floor and stared at us until we got to our room. Made me a little uneasy. The elevators were not very clean. The curtains in our room were not long enough to block out the sunlight. There was a massive red couch in our room that was not necessary. Took up to much room and smelled. We didn't even put our luggage on it. Could have done without it.
It was comfortable. Quiet. We didn't hear anything or anyone.

United StatesBeing told it was okay for a late 2 p.m. checkout and then being called at 11:30 a.m. and being told we were to be checked out then. I was still at my appointment when my sister called and said we were supposed to be checked out. She explained to him it had been okayed for us to check out later, and he said we don't do that here. She said to him we weren't back yet, he told her they were busy and she could wait in the lobby. We had 2 small dogs with us! There needs to be better communication between employees about checkout times. That really put a sour taste in my mouth! Not sure that we will stay there again! Don't tell me one thing and turn around and tell me something else. Not good business! I booked the hotel, not Mark!

United StatesThe only negative about the stay is for some reason the tv signal kept going out in both rooms for 5-10 minutes at a time. Made it hard to watch something without it being interrupted by the signal going out.
The hotel was extremely clean and the staff amazing!!! They were very attentive and helpful with whatever we needed! I would definitely stay here again!

United StatesThe price! Very expensive. Also, when did hotels stop having housekeeping freshen the room every morning? It used to be automatic, now I found out that guests have to call for clean towels - and I had to pick them up from the lobby desk myself because the housekeeping staff apparently had left for the day.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the location of the hotel was convenient and easy to get to.

United StatesThe only thing i did not like was once you walked into the lobby it smelled like cigarettes
This was a last minute booking as my original hotel I was staying in for the Pittsburgh Steelers game on 12/24 on the coldest weekend of the year heat went out and there pipes froze and didn't give me any notification until i arrived and i had to find a place to stay for the weekend and they recommended Hampton Inn down the street and it worked out well as it was super close and way cheaper than where i was originally staying and plus they offered free breakfast which was a plus. i also was sick and the lady who works on the weekends for breakfast was super sweet to me and my son. Took real good care of us with her service, even gave us cough drops and extra apple juice, I would definitely stay there again. hoping to go to another Steelers game again next season. Bed was super comfy
