Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Statesmy issue was with billing, they held 312 dollars for incidentals which is cool. A few days after I checked out when the payment posted. I never go my 73 dollar deposit back. I called the location but the young lady said it was nothing she can do. called my bank and they told me that it was an Hampton in issue. I’m aware 72 dollars is not a lot of money but it’s my money that’s just put there floating somewhere

United StatesWas charged more by the hotel than quoted and guaranteed by booking.com. Called hotel and "Laura" at the front desk said "we charge extra in case there are incidentals you want. It should fall off in a few days." It is now over a week and the price charged on my card is the same. RIP OFF. AVOID !!

United StatesI did not have not one day of room service. No one came to clean the room, take out trash or supply clean towels not one time. We had to chase down employees for towels! The trash over flowed and we were charged a different amount than promised in my email. I was told those were incidental charges! For what? I do not recomend this place to anyone! Just horrible!

United StatesWe booked our room 2 months in advance through booking.com and prepaid at the time of booking. Our room was located on the second floor. The elevator and hallway carpeting could use a cleaning. When we arrived at the door used the digital key to enter the room which worked perfectly and did like that option on their website.. The room was ok. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. The faucet on the sink was loose and the water barely came out In the morning I got an email that our credit card was charged for the room. I was totally shocked and the charge was more than should have been on top of it!! I knew I had prepaid for the room so we went down to check out at 6:00 am and no one was at the desk. We waited and my husband happened to see someone inside the office who we think was sleeping. She did come out and checked and said the room was not paid for by booking.com. I showed her my documents and even my PayPal withdrawal. Long story short we ended up paying for the room twice as there was no help in solving this. Not happy about having to deal with this

Front desk Tiffany was sitting outside when I pulled up. At 2:30 pm. Before I can even ask a question. She said you can’t check in early. Because they not finished cleaning the rooms. She also stated that the price from booking.com was in correct. So basically with an attitude like that. Why would anyone want to stay there? She told me to contact booking.com to address the issue with pricing. I choose to leave and stay elsewhere.

United StatesHow are you going to put up a sealed sticker to say "room sanitized" when : carpet not vacuumed well or at all(saw fingernail clipping🤢 and broom straws left), foyer floor had mud on it), sticky spots left on table between beds, old key card holder from previous guest left under one of our duvets. Refrig. not plugged in or working so wasnt able to use. Sink faucet barely a trickle and leaking out back, almost not enough water to brush teeth or rinse hands. HVAC so loud sounded like a washing machine in my room. Arrived late and very tired, no time to complain or change rooms.
room smelled nice, bed was comfortable. free cookies at checkin, nice friendly employees, great breakfast with scrambled eggs, cinnamon waffles and BACON😃😃😃, neat and clean halls, front desk, and breakfast area. Parking lot nice and well lit, safe.
