Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesProperty was advertised room with coffee machine - on check in, there wasn’t one. I reported it to the front desk 3 x and never got one. When booking the room, I wasn’t told I will have to pay a $100 deposit when paying by credit card. I’m still waiting for the refund.

FranceBreakfast could be starting earlier on saturday :) We couldn't enjoy it and were sad to see that the other days it starts earlier. The surroundings of the hotel are a mess ! So don't think about going outside ;)
Great place to stay when you are just staying for one night close to the airport. Shuttle service really convenient when you leave the hotel for the airport, but not that easy when you go from the airport to the hotel. But we got a refund on the Uber we had to take instead : thank you for that !

ItalyThe room needs some freshen up, a bit outdated and the Aircon is a bit loud. If you walk to the fast food places you might find some suspicious people laying around or acting strange, be careful. Had some issues with the deposit refund, since I had payed through booking.com somehow it had been charged back to booking and not to my original credit card, but with some patience the great costumer service was able to find the issue
It's perfect for a layover flight, it's close to the airport and has a few fast food places just 5 min walk away. The staff is friendly. Clean rooms. The free airport taxi, both from and to the airport, is a great service, you just give them a call and they will send you a voucher (IT'S IMPORTANT TO HAVE A US PHONE NUMBER, since it's through SMS). United StatesThe breakfast was good. The halls needed vacuuming but the room was clean enough. Instead of a shuttle, the hotel pays for a taxi. We had to wait a while at the airport until a taxi from the only company they use was free. In the morning, we needed to go to the car rental area and our taxi was there waiting at the designated time and took us right there.

United KingdomThe company just took on the hotel which teething problems ie wifi down washing facilities were not working and the swimming pool was out of order. To credit the staff once we highlighted the wifi and washing problem it was sorted out tge next day. Please dont be put off, it will bea great place to stay!
