Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We stayed in an "apartment" (4 apartment building) and it was nice but the water smelled funny. The location was perfect as we went on a tour from 4-7:30 p.m. Would have preferred to stay in the hotel/motel closer to the restaurant but this was fine for the one night we stayed. Restaurant food was very good. Tour was outstanding but maybe a smidge too long - 3.5 hours was a bit long - probably should have done the 2.5.

AustraliaThe advertising of the villa rooms needs to be more accurate and either say it has a view or it doesn’t.
When I booked there was limited availability. On their website it states One bedroom villas has a private patio with views of Monument Valley, so I booked this option. On arrival, the villa was located in the middle of other villas with no views. We returned to reception to ask for a villa with a view. The receptionist advised that due to booking through a third party, a view was not requested. After much to-ing and fro-ing and being told we couldn’t move due to the property being overbooked, a supervisor/manager became involved and we were moved to a cheaper queen sized lodge room but again due to booking through a third party, we were not entitled to a refund on the price. The queen sized room was comfortable and clean and the view from the balcony was worth the move. We were also closer to the restaurant, pool and other amenities. If you are only here for one night, go the cheaper lodge option if you can as all the rooms have a view of Monument Valley.

The view from the balcony was great and having a coffee during sunrise was a great experience. It was also conveniently close to the valley entrance for morning visit.

BelgiumThe only thing as a downside was the conclusive checkout: they tried to make us pay an additional sum. With a discussion we left the property. Of course it was a bit of a downer but it did not influence our memories of our stay in Monument Valley.
Our stay was good. The location is beautiful en the view from the cabin of course even so. To stay at Monument Valley it is a recommender for sure.

SpainThe price is a bit expensive for a family of 2 and a baby, but I understand that if you stay there with a bigger family is worth it. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant though.
We stayed in a little cabin. It has everything you can need and amazing views of Monument Valley. We saw beautiful sunrise. Overall a great experience.

United KingdomIt's not a criticism of the hotel. I would just like to flag up the fact there is no alcohol allowed on premises, I have no issue with that but I was unaware. Also means no bar on site. Be warned. You are a long way away from anywhere, when you stay at GG you stay there. There is nothing for miles around. We stayed 2 nights, 1 would have been enough.
Unbelievable view, lovely house. This is a fabulous place to stay. Restaurant food was very good and also very interesting in terms of the menu. You cannot get tired of the views and the atmosphere.
