Our room had a small shower but it wasn’t too inconvenient as it worked well and was very functional.

The property is beautiful and the location is incredible. Walking distance to everything in Friday Harbor. Also, they accepted dogs and it was hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed with our pup.

A continental style option for breakfast for those who like something a little simpler.

For those who like something a little different for breakfast they were fabulous. For those who are not adventurous and like something more plain it was a problem.

The daily breakfast was incredible and Farhad was such an amazing host. He played the piano and brought cookies to each room every night, made breakfast every morning, including kid-friendly options and gave us some great advice on places to visit and explore. Sheets to cover the bedspreads were provided since we brought our dogs but they also brought treats for the dogs which was very sweet. We very much enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the chickens!

The B&B was within walkable distance to Friday harbor! loved the setting and area…very safe feeling as well! We loved and appreciated the owner, Farhod, for all of his care to details, and his farm to table breakfast was unbelievable…it far exceeded our expectations!

Location was excellent, within walking distance of ferry. Parking if you need it for free. Home is nice, despite having several rooms, it is quiet. Owner is welcoming.

Our host was amazing. He was friendly, warm, and very interesting. Breakfast we're extremely tasty. Evenings were capped off with fresh cookies, a glass of wine, and Farhad playing beautiful music on the grand piano.

The pillows were a bit soft for our liking. However, that is only our preference. It would have been nice to know the day before what the breakfast would be served the next day.. I have a picky eater, so it would help us decide if we would enjoy their breakfast or head out to find something else.

The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner offered to give recommendations for restaurants in the area. There were cookies in our room the first evening after we had been out all day. The room had our own bathroom that was nice, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and a kettle for boiling water. There were dishes, silverware and supplies for you to clean yourself or leave for them. This was nice when we stopped at the market and bought a frozen meal for a snack. The entertainment was the owner playing piano for an hour each night, which was nice. You could sit downstairs and have a glass of wine and enjoy the music. I have a bad knee, so we went to our room to rest after being out all day and you could still hear the lovely music. The room was clean and at a great location to town. Super close to the ferry terminal. The owner and staff do a great job of maintaining the facility. The garden was so nice to look at with the Spring flowers.

It’s perfect

Gourmet gluten-free breakfast, toast made with 100 year old sourdough starter, fresh eggs from the hens in the backyard. Fahad’s nightly piano concerts on a 1910 Steinway, and soundproof rooms to allow me to keep writing on my typewriters late into the night. If you were thinking about staying here, and hesitating, stop hesitating. You will not be disappointed!

Mattress was damaged by the previous occupant and was unable to be replaced prior to our occupancy, which was understandable given the supply issues and ferry transportation. We were in the pet friendly room so other accommodations were not available.

Breakfast outstanding, all homemade and fresh. Accommodated out time frame for serving the breakfast. Grounds beautiful, pet friendly. Close (walking distance) to Friday Harbor shopping district.

In our particular room there needs to be a little table or stand to hold toiletries. That is a very minor lack, easily corrected. Perhaps other rooms have them.

The host was amazing. He brought fresh-baked cookies to the room at 7 pm and played an informal concert of classical music on his amazing grand piano in the living room each evening, even offering a glass of wine at that time. He is an accomplished pianist AND is the mayor of the town. His friendliness and interest in our welfare, both general and in specific to our visit to FH, made us feel comfortable and "at home." The room itself had a good kitchenette with a refrigerator that actually kept things cold, unlike some other places where we stayed. A Keurig coffee system in the room meant that the coffee was tip top. Breakfasts were sumptuous and included offerings from a wide selection of recipes; the host obviously is a talented cook.
